Provide help and support, promote social inclusion, independence and a better quality of home life to the elderly and those of poor mental health, limited finances, failing health or reduced mobility living in South Brent & district.Help is provided by carefully selected, trained & fully supported volunteers & includes: befriending, transport, carer support, gardening, shopping & signposting.

Relief of Poverty.Advancement of Education of Orphans in Uganda.Establishing homes /orphanages. Setting up young people in business. Paying for School, college & University Fees as well as vocational training. Providing food & shelter.

Funds have been collected and given out throughout the year to support Christian Organisations, Missionary Societies, and individuals engaged in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.Outreach into Schools.Clubs run for children.Public Services have been held each Sunday. Holding Services in Residential Homes.

The provision of respite care breaks for people with disabilities.

The main activity of the trust is to provide accommodation for the elderly who have insufficient funds to purchase. At Christmas time they distribute funds to local needy persons, plus a limited number of charities, mostly local.

Purchase of land for an orphanage for Kitaa Hope Home, Moshi, Tanzania, now called Kitaa Hope Children Home. Funding the design and building of the new orphanage. Funding furnishing, landscaping and general maintenance of the building. Contributing to the general running of the home: food, utilities, salaries, etc. Funding education for twenty of the children and transport to school.

To provide holidays, respite care, amenities or equipment to those suffering from cancer or other disease, injuries, infirmities, or disabilities of a life threatening or otherwise debilitating or incapacitating nature affecting their quality of life.

The Charity provides help to the sick or disabled who are in financial need. Grants may be made to purchase among other items, equipment, special clothing, help with energy bills and respite care. Support is also given to the Community Nurses by providing help with training courses, books and special equipment not normally funded by the NHS.

Community centre for the benefit the residents of Thaxted and surrounding areas, providing facilities and activities which aim to reduce social isolation and improve the health and well-being of the local community.

Our aims are to advance the life and relieve the need of young people who are looked after children, care leavers, care experienced, homeless and asylum seekers through providing; activities, experiences and training, addressing accommodation issues- including the provision of accommodation and support, campaigning for positive change and addressing issues that impact all of these young people.

To promote the welfare of the disabled and elderly in Chipping Norton and surrounding area. Primarily achieved by the provision of a day centre enabling members to continue within the community

The Berwick Literary Festival is an annual event held in October of each year, focussing on the presentation of words, written, spoken and performed. It includes events for all ages, a number featuring local talent and authors. The Festival is also engaged in work in schools and care homes.

Mercy missions to the poor and orphans in Europe and needy communities around the United Kingdom. Medicines, blankets, shoes and warm clothing are sent into Europe, Eastern Europe and Ukraine to needy families and orphanages. Seminars to help families in the UK in home relationships, marriage breakdowns and needy children. Seminars to equip counsellors to help others in crisis.

Synagogue provides normal public worship services, spiritual support, education and pastoral support to members. Ministry arm provides educational, and spiritual support to Messianic Synagogues and individuals in various countries, in addition to financial and humanitarian support for orphanages in Zambia and Kenya. Day Centre for people in the local area suffering from Dementia/Alzheimer's so giving their families/carer much needed respite.

MAINTAINING AND ADMINISTERING THE COAL ASTON VILLAGE HALL. THE VILLAGE HALL IS HIRED TO VARIOUS ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS, INCLUDING DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL SOCIAL SERVICES (AS A DAY CENTRE), ALSO FOR PRIVATE PARTIES, MEETINGS ETC. THE VILLAGE HALL IS ALSO A VENUE FOR PLAYS, SHOWS, CONCERTS ETC AND THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE ORGANISES AN ANNUAL GALA.

The Norfolk Constabulary Benevolent Fund was established to assist in needy cases of members, former members, their widows, orphans or dependants. It does this by paying grants and interest free loans where necessary and by the provision of holiday homes for rest and recuperation and for respite or convalescence.

Cornerstone Trust provides residential and domiciliary care for adults with learing disabilities in Bolton. We also provide a voluntary weekly day time activity group called CAT at the premises of Radcliffe Road Baptist Church in Bury.

To honour the charity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by works of mercy, spiritual and temporal, the poor, the sick, prisoners, orphans, aged and infirm persons or persons in any other need. This includes the provision of a private registered nursing home.

Families United Warrington is for families with children and young people that have special educational needs and disabilities. The charity offers social opportunities for the whole family to participate in adaptive inclusive outings and activities, monthly FUN Club, monthly family respite, weekly sport/swim sessions and parents support meetings.

1) The relief of young persons, including former beneficiaries of Tutnal Children's Home, who through poverty, deprivation or abuse, are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.2) To promote the education of such young persons in such ways as the trustees shall think fit.

Offering training in foster care in the U.K. for International social workers so that they can take these initiatives back to their own country to commence family based care there.Providing support, training and practical solutions to help vulnerable families who find themselves living in critical poverty. Our current family preservation programmes work primarily in Madagascar.
