We help the children of Ethiopia by supporting the education of the children and the improvement, maintenance and expansion of Hanna Teshome's orphans' homes. We provide resources that make an impact on the children's lives. Any help, support and aid is defined and specified by the people living and working in the orphans' homes. Where possible, we buy Ethiopian goods and use Ethiopian labour.

This charity is used to provide small sums of monies to large numbers of individuals on either a regular or one off basis.Some of the monies also help to support a Jewish learning centre in Israel and monies have also been transferred to an Orphanage and old age homes abroad over the course of the charities existance.

We are a small local Charity running a Charity Shop to raise funds to support the elderly in St Just and Pendeen. We were closed for some months due to the Covid lockdowns and are now open again on reduced hours. The regular monthly free lunches had to be suspended during the pandemic but hope to resume again in 2022. Our buildings are used by local groups for a small fee.

The charity has been educating members including children and teenagers about making the right choices in life. Our guide has always been the Bible and good Christian morals.We have been rendering benevolent services to the needy here in the UK and some parts of Africa.We also visit Residential and Care homes to provide entertainmentand vulnerable

We organise regular events including craft, music, table games, seated sports, meals, trips and holidays. Our members are people with personal experience of dementia, as patients, unpaid carers, or health and social care professionals. Carers are welcome to remain in the group after the person they supported dies or moves into residential care.

We provide independant comprehensive advice and support to foster carers and other professionals involved with foster care covering various topics including complaints and allegations. We operate a full training and consultancy advisory service related to many aspects of training and recruitment including pre and post approval training.

Playcentre for carers/parents with children under 5 years of age. The playcentre operates in the Borough of Ealing.

A volunteer run Day Centre, helping Ukrainian Refugees in and around Steyning rebuild their shattered lives, teaching English, advising them & their Home Hosts, safely protecting their physical & mental health, making them job ready, facilitating integration into the community. Providing recreation, leisure facilities, vocational training, advice, and bolstering their talents, gifts & skills.

PROVIDING ACTIVITIES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS

Regular giving to a variety of charities providing help to people in this country and those providing overseas aid, supporting children in orphanages(paying for their schooling and general living expenses) and missionaries who are working in Africa and India. We hold weekly church meetings and serve as a venue for inter-church activities in the local area.

The aim of the charity is to relieve the needs of families and carers of children living in the UK who have been diagnosed with cancer, by offering much needed respite, to create a positive experience and the chance to make memories together.

Provision of once weekly social activities that benefit members, provide respite for carers and promote volunteering for people with learning disabilities. Fine weather outings and sensory walks in local nature reserves and Epping Forest. Art, photography and filming sessions recording group activities to promote and display the Groups work to the public.

We offer accommodation at the seaside for respite for carers and poor vulnerable people with the advice of the St. Vincents de Paul Society in the Anglia Diocese of The Roman Catholic Church.

This charity provides :- (a) luncheon club (b) outreach befriending service (c) mental health drop in centre (d) home and respite care (e) computer classes (f) youth activities.

Prevention, or relief of poverty, enhancement of youth education (including under privileged youths), welfare , medical assistance to disaster victims . Also provide financial support to centres caring for orphanages, widows and OAP.

To relieve the financial burden on families in Yorkshire though the provision of gifts and entertainment at Christmas. Provide themed activities to encourage social inclusion of families from low income backgrounds.Provide "banana boxes" of toys to low income families moving from sheltered housing into accommodation

The object of the trust is the relief of poor aged or infirm persons by the provision of housing accommodation or other necessarycare and attention in assisted units or homes for residential care or otherwise. The Trust currently aims to achieve this by means of grants to organisations whose aims meet these objectives.

The charity aims, through its activities to:? provide day care facilities for elderly people;? provide an education and training base for young people; and? provide a focal point for members to meet socially and to obtain advice, support and information.
