The Trustees make payments to several retired members of staff of the National Liberal Club on a regular annual basis.

To promote humane behaviour towards retired police dogs in Lancashire by providing financial assistance to the owners of retired police dogs who have charge of animals that are in need of appropriate care & attention by reason of sickness, poor circumstance or ill usage

Relief of such poor and distressed Brother Masons or their poor and distressed widows and children or to or for the benefit of such masonic charities or other charitable institutions societies and objects as the Lodge shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct

We make various donations to charities that have specific meaning to the doners. We donate to charities connected to Cancer, Cancer Care, Children in Need etc.

We collect money from mainly within our membership, by circulation of a regular charity box, raffles and charity evenings. This money is used to support local charities and needy causes. Some of this money is also given to our Grand Charity for donation around the world to disaster areas for instance (Tsunami being one). We also support the needy widows of our past members and those in distress

Operating globally, activities include:(educational) learning material development; exchanges, performances; teacher training; classes, workshops, retreats and courses; collaborative embodied research laboratories; (arts) research, preservation, sustainment and dissemination; (hardship relief) the provision of grants, goods or services.Resourcing and administering funded projects.

The relief of financial hardship of individuals who are working in or who have worked in the Dried Fruit and Nut Trades and their dependants by making grants of money.And support in the form of financial assistance for Worthy Causes in the United Kingdom who are suffering from food poverty or food insecurity.

1. Lord Mayor of Manchester can nominate up to 10 Non-Jewish Charitable institutions in Manchester. 2. President of council of Manchester and Salford Jews can nominate up to 10 Jewish Charitable Institutions Request -ú20 used to cover cost of prayers for Mr & Mrs Levy on anniversaries of their deaths.3. Mayor of Tel-Aviv can nominate such Jewish Charitable Institutions at his discretion.
