This Charity operates under the normal directives of ROTARY making donations to local worthwhile causes and to disaster events abroad. All donations are sanctioned by the Rotary Club of Newport Shropshire

Provides grants to Masonic and non Masonic Charities. Also to groups working with the sick, disabled or elderly who hold registered charity status. Occasionally provides financial assistance to current and former members or their family who have met with adversity and who are unable to obtain support from any other service.

To provide financial assistance to worthy charities and good causes both Masonic and non-Masonic from fund-raising activities. Donations to charity and good causes shall be as determined from time to time by resolution of the members in open Lodge assembled.

To provide relief to necessitous brethren past or present of St Alban Lodge of Freemason No 29 and widows and children of deceased brethren of the same or to such other charitable purposes as the lodge shall determine

The charity was established by a trust deed on January 1964 with the objective of raising funds for rendering relief and assistance to poor and distressed Freemasons and their dependents, and for any charitable (including educational) object which would in law be a good charitable gift.

Gives grants to individuals who reside within the Ecclesiastical Parish of St Pauls, Weymouth, Dorset who are in welfare need.

Supporting local charities

RECEIVES DONATIONS FROM MEMBERS AND VISITORS TO THE MASONIC LODGE. MAKES DONATIONS TO LOCAL ORGANISATIONS AND CHARITIES, ALSO TO 'PROVINCIAL' AND 'GRAND' LODGE CHARITABLE FUNDS, TO HELP PROVIDE SUMS TO NATIONAL LODGE DONATIONS.

THE PREVENTION AND ALLEVIATION OF POVERTY OF FORMER PUPILS AND STAFF OF THE CITY OF LONDON SCHOOL

Grants to organisations or indivduals with connection to Albert Duke of York Lodge or others if so decided.

The charity provides interest-free loans and, in exceptional circumstances, grants to relieve the following persons where they are in need, hardship or distress:- current and former employees of the Charity Commission;- in the case of death or incapacity of current and former employees of the Charity Commission, their dependents.

provision of high tea to all senior citizens,tea treat bun and money to all children in catchment area on st.day feast day.gift to certain senior citizens at christmas.To own, manage,maintain and provide access to the community centre for the benefit of the residents of st.day

Support of Masonic and general charities

Raising funds to support Financial relief to Masons, their spouse and dependants together with other such worthy causes the Lodge may wish to support.

The relief of such poor and distressed brother masons or their poor and distressed widows and children or to or for the benefit of such masonic charities or other charitable institutions, societies and objectives as the lodge shall from time to time direct.

The object of the Fund is to relieve poverty amongst persons of European birth who are or have been members of the planting community of Sri Lanka and their dependant relatives in need, restricted to the wives, widows and dependant children of such persons.
