THE CHARITY IS PREDOMINANTLY A MASONIC CHARITY, HOWEVER IN 2014to2015 . WE GAVE GRANTS TO NON-MASONIC CHARITIES. GRANTS WENT TO THE BLOODFAST EVS:SOLDIERS SAILORS AIRMEN FAMILIES ASSOCIATION. GRANTS WERE 50% TO MASONIC CHARITIES AND 50% TO OTHER CHARITIES. WE ALSO ORGANISED RAFFLES FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES.

Raising funds which can be spent on providing general assistance to those deemed in need.

FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH DISTRESSED BROTHER MASONS OR THEIR DISTRESSED WIDOWS AND CHILDREN OR TO OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH MASONIC CHARITIES OR OTHER CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS, SOCIETIES, AND OBJECTS AS THE TRUSTEES RECOMMEND TO THE LODGE AND SHALL ON A DULY CONSTITUTED MEETING FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.

Masonic charity collecting money and donating to various organisations including "Alone in London", and charities sponsored by United Grand Lodge.

Masonic lodge benevolent fund

The Trust was set up for the advancement of education in veterinary science, but is currently dormant, as the charity relies on donations from BVA.A subsidiary charity, the BVA Staff Benevolent Fund, was set up to help current and ex-BVA employees and dependents in time of financial need.

General charitable activies

To provide financial assistance to members in times of need due to injury or sickness. Financial assistance is also available to aid dependents of members when a member passes away.

Masonic trust for receiving and paying out monies collected

The Fund was established as a Trust in 1950, with the aim to make 'grants out of the Trust Fund for the relief of Members of the Association who are in necessitous circumstances.' These may be unexpected occurrences which affect the professional life of a Member. Whether it is an accident, a bereavement or illness.
