Masonic trust for receiving and paying out monies collected

The Fund was established as a Trust in 1950, with the aim to make 'grants out of the Trust Fund for the relief of Members of the Association who are in necessitous circumstances.' These may be unexpected occurrences which affect the professional life of a Member. Whether it is an accident, a bereavement or illness.

Annual Party with food and entertainment for beneficiaries.

COUNTY BOWLING ASSOCIATION, RAISING FUNDS FOR DISTRIBUTION TO NEEDY MEMBERS AND DEPENDENTS

Support for those associated with Bishop Vesey's Grammar School who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress and provide for pupils and ex-pupils of teh school educational services that are not otherwise available and/or funded by the statutory authority.

The charity makes grants:1. The relief of poverty amongst members of the SCMS and their partners;2. Assists in the advancement of the education of the public in the maritime industry, including but not exclusively, through the provision of grants, scholarships and bursaries for marine related courses;3. Other charitable purposes as the Trustees may determine, related to the marine industry.

The support of national and local masonic and non-masonic charities using money raised by regular donations from members and by fund raising events.

Masonic charity collecting money and donating to various organisations including "Alone in London", and charities sponsored by United Grand Lodge.

This is primarily an activity associated with the South-East Counties Womens Football League which assists players who sustain injuries whilst playing football and who subsequently could do with a bit of financial assistance.
