Money raised provides additional facilities and support for pupils. For example, a new minibus; large outdoor play equipment; iPads; an outdoor classroom. They have also provided a defibrillator for use in the school in emergencies - school funds the training to use this equipment. The current project that the Charity is raising funds for, is a Sensory Room to be constructed within the school.

We are a small club in existance for over 15 years which caters for the visually handicapped living in the York area We have at the present time approx 30 members. We are a voluntary association meeting fortnightly for coffee/tea and a social chat and occasionally we have mid-week outings to places of local interest We use our own mini-bus for both activities.

DURING THE LAST YEAR WE HAVE BEEN TO SLIMBRIDGE WILDLIFE CENTRE, OXFORD FOR LUNCH , CADNAM FOR A RIDE OUT AND THEN CALLING AT A CARVERY FOR LUNCH AND A TRIP TO POOLE.

The Charity restores and displays vintage vehicles from the local Municipal Transport Fleets. Provides free transport for other charities/organisations and educational faciities on site for local schools. Currently looking to provide a perminant home for its vehicles to display in a museum setting.

i Minibus provides free transport for elderly to and from their residence to local shops and market. Applicable to Thaxted and surrounding area on a weekly basis.. ii Available to local organisations i.e. scouts, youth club, local church groups etc. by donations.

to provide a community transport service for the inhabitants of Malmesbury and its district who are in need of such service because of age, sickness, disability (mental or physical), poverty or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services.

We aim to raise funds for school activities, equipment and facilities not provided for by the Local Education Authority. Projects to date include equipment for soft play area, safer surfacing for playgrounds, a new minibus, outdoor trampoline, sensory lights for hydro pool & artificial grass for learning outside the classroom. We are a small committee made up of parent volunteers whose aim is to fundraise for the schools Special Needs children and put back every penny of that money into purchasing specialist equipment for our children. This may be anything from sensory resources, furniture, specialist outdoor equipment, send pupils on a residential holiday, or saving to purchase a new minibus.

Currently we manage a "Trust Fund". We believe that it is no longer financially viable for a Day Centre to be run as we have in the past. Following consultation with the Charity Commission and AgeUK as to the future use of the funds, we donated a considerable sum to a local alms-house charity; we have donated fund to purchase an Age UK minibus; and we support computer classes for the elderly.

Examples include specially adapted minibus with wheelchair lift (enables pupils take part activities in community; building of hydrotherapy pool;provision of IT and Communication Aids; Plasma Touch Screens; Special playground equipment; Visits to theatre by the children; Funding of activities to support curriculum;

We operate in the Lansdown area of Bath, providing services for those in need, particularly the elderly. Our chief activities are the provision of regular weekly shopping trips in our minibus and holding a monthly coffee morning.
