The Charity's objects are to relieve the needs of people living in poverty anywhere in the world including in particular, but without limitation, by the provision of bicycles to enable them to access education, employment, healthcare and other essentials of life.

To provide allotments within the old Borough of Mansfield (ie prior to 1974)

The provision of vocational courses, training programmes qualifications and awards to educate people, particularly young people, including those considered to be in financial hardship, in leadership and organisation of sport and physical activity. The delivery of programmes which encourage people to then use those skills in a voluntary capacity to get their communities more active.

The charity's mission is to combat food waste and thereby reduce food poverty by supporting communities and groups (its network members) which work with people who have:Low or no income, poor access to affordable nutritious food and a lack of knowledge or skills or equipment to ensure food is safe and prepared properly.

FoodCycle provides a delicious communal three course meal for people at risk of food poverty and social isolation using surplus food

The charity works to relieve hardship, need and distress amongst those who are homeless, and to educate the public concerning the homeless.
