The Love Moldova Foundation is a Christian charity which raises funds in the UK to support the poor and vulnerable in Moldova and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We work with Moldovan charities, churches and individuals to fund a home for vulnerable elderly ladies and to support a refuge for young girls at risk of trafficking as well as outreach and youth work by the churches.

To promote the protection of adults and children who have suffered or are suffering from or have been exposed to domestic abuse by such means as are charitable including the preservation of their mental and physical health, the relief of need and the promotion of education concerning domestic abuse. These objectives will be mainly achieved through the awarding of grants.

Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary provides sanctuary and refuge for animals in need, and actively seeks new homes for rehabilitated rescued animals. We provide veterinary treatment to those who need it, as well as promoting kindness and compassion, and raising awareness by educating and supporting the public on Animal Welfare issues.

A volunteer run Day Centre, helping Ukrainian Refugees in and around Steyning rebuild their shattered lives, teaching English, advising them & their Home Hosts, safely protecting their physical & mental health, making them job ready, facilitating integration into the community. Providing recreation, leisure facilities, vocational training, advice, and bolstering their talents, gifts & skills.

Advancement of the Christian religion. The furtherance of the charitable work of the charity by the advancement of such other charitable purposes as the Trustees shall from time to time decide.

We are a small family run charity providing furniture to people in need with in the forest of dean, we also work with a number of other local charites including Barnados Childrens Centre, Local Food Bank, Green Square Housing, Womens refuge, Local Churches, Gloucester Homeless Donations and Social Services.We collect unwanted furniture, so stoping it from entering landfill, repair and reuse !

The Southwold Sailors' Reading Room was built in 1864 as a refuge for fishermen and mariners when not engaged at sea. Displays of a seafaring nature line the walls and fill glass cabinets. Pictures and portraits of local fishermen and seascapes, model ships and maritime paraphernalia offer a fascinating history of Southwold's connections with the sea.

ACTIVITIES OF A CHURCH, FURTHERANCE OF RELIGION

Trained, uniformed Street Pastors volunteers from local churches staff a refuge cafe and patrol the centre of Cambridge on Saturday nights between 10pm-3am, caring, listening and helping all without judgement or discrimination. Assistance and a listening, pastoral ear are made freely available to all. We freely share our faith and motivations but only if asked.

We advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public in such ways and in such parts of the UK or world as trustees think fit. We provide premises in Cornwall for Christians and those enquiring after the Christian faith to meet together for sharing beliefs, working with other Christian ministries. We are preparing a residential property as a place of "refuge, retreat and healing".

HBTSR HELPS PEOPLE SEEKING ASYLUM/REFUGE BY PROVIDING THEM WITH OUTINGS TO THE COUNTRYSIDE FOR LEISURE, FRIENDSHIP AND SKILL EXCHANGE. WE HELP OUR OWN LOCAL COMMUNITIES TO MEET PEOPLE FROM OTHER CULTURES AND BE ENRICHED BY THIS. WE SPEAK PUBLICLY AND RAISE FUNDS. WE APPROACH LOCAL ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES TO IMPROVE POLICY AND SUPPORT.WE PROVIDE SOME EXPERT ASSISTANCE AND COLLECT GOODS.

The trust awards financial grants to alleviate the hardship faced by those seeking refuge from the Ukrainian war in Bristol and North Somerset. Its first beneficiaries are a family of Ukrainian refugees. In addition to financial support the Welcome Bureau volunteers have offered donated goods to furnish a property, support to settle in the UK and support to gain a place at Bristol Grammar school.

Provides care and shelter for homeless animals in the Furness area.

To provide assistance and support, in the City of Hereford and surrounding areas, to individuals in need as a result of maltreatment, neglect, crime, delinquency, prostitution, alcoholic addiction, substance misuse and other addictions

The Village Hall is the centre of social activities in the village particularly so since the closure of the one and only public house in the village. A variety of users includes the Toddler Group, Pilates, local history group, birthday parties, weddings etc The Hall is also used as a refuge centre in the event of an emergency.

The Charity provides faciliites in terms of buildings for training and ambulances, training equipment etc for the use of Warwick Ambulance Association in order that the public may gain from free first aid to the public at point of delivery at Warwick Events.The charity also provides facilities within the HQ building for the statutory services to use as a place of refuge in times of emergency.

Kings Heath Action for Refugees (KHAR) is a community fundraising, befriending and awareness-raising charity supporting asylum seekers, refugees and those seeking safe refuge from violence and persecution.

The charity engages in the following activities:- provision of support to women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, in the form of small grants for crisis needs, and funding for activities- raising awareness of issues surrounding domestic violence- monitoring the provision of services for women who have experienced domestic abuse

Aims of Feral Cat Welfare: food & shelter for feral colonies/cats; TNR where possible; rehoming where safe return impossible; socialization & homing of feral kittens; education of general public by encouraging neutering & responsible cat ownership; long term - permanent refuge for feral cats & a base for our work.
