We provide education, leisure activities, friendship & support for all women irrespective of race, creed or politics. We meet monthly with a variety of speakers & have various smaller special interest groups which also meet monthly.

A rural youth movement for young people aged 10-26 years. Members gain recognised skills and confidence in many activities such as public speaking, drama and entertainments, sports, stock-judging and stock presentation. The opportunity to travel and attend meetings and social events to fundraise for their club and the local community. This is a member led organisation.

The 2000 Club provides opportunities for people with physical, learning & sensory disability, aged 18 years & upwards. The club participates in Leisure / Games & Social Activities. We meet once a month, 2nd Sundays. Indoor Bowls Session was discontinued Winter 2019/20 period. Social Day Trips are also organised throughout the year. The club are working in partnership with other organisations.

To relieve those in need, by reason of age, ill-health, or disability who are restricted in their ability to participate in and take advantage of local activities by providing a specially adapted vehicle, co-ordinated and run by volunteers. To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded.

Provision of social and recreational opportunities for adults with a wide range of physical and/or sensory disabilities

The Trustees shall apply on an international basis the income and capital of the Trust for the following charitable purposes - Environment, Social Inclusion, Education & the Arts and Relief for Refugees & those in need. This will be achieved bythe awarding of grants to appropriate organisations operating within the above areas and the subsequent monitoring of the impact the grants have made.

Develop local community engagement and cohesion through:- participation in the sport of rugby football;- participation in healthy recreation;- social interaction;- self-development via training, and opportunities to try, engage in and advance participation in sport and physical exercise.Advancing the physical and informal education of children/young people via engagement in rugby.

The advancement of public education in raising awareness of issues of hearing loss and providing lip reading classes and training to the wider public.The promotion of social inclusion among people who are socially excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of hearing loss by relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.

The Friends Of Downsview raise money for equipment, to subsidise theatre visits and other trips, as well as run social events for the children, families, local residents and other stake holders. Amongst these events are The Annual Christmas shop, Christmas parties and a Summer Fete.

Welfare 13 Christmas hampers provided for those who had been ill during the year. Remembrance of those departed and visiting those who have been ill. Give a reason for some of our elderly veterans to socialise.

The charity runs an extensive research program enabling people to research the culture and history of the Chassidic movement and also run weekly and monthly lectures and social events relating to this.

A swimming and social Club for disabled people of all ages, meeting once a week for swimming. Other social events include an annual BBQ and a new year meal.

Hearing Ambassadors educate the public on hearing well being and in so doing enable the development of skills, strategies and competencies to promote social inclusion regardless of hearing ability.

Management and maintenance of the Eskdale Village Hall, including renting out the Hall for private use e.g. functions, organising fundraising and social activities in the Hall.

THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AMONG VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE IN ENGLAND AND WALES WHO ARE EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, DUE TO THEIR DISABILITY BY THE PROVISION OF PRACTICAL SUPPORT AND MEETINGS OFFERING OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND EXPERIENCES WHICH ENCOURAGE THE BUILDING OF CONFIDENCE, SELF ESTEEM, NEW FRIENDSHIPS AND SUPPORT NETWORKS.

Members meet together for talks and various social activities. We meet with other W I s within our District and/or Federation for social activities, talks, demonstrations, and workshops connected with subjects such as home economics, arts and crafts, sports and leisure, performing arts, science, health and social welfare.

The object of the charity is to relieve and support the families and carers of adults suffering enduring or recurring mental illness throughout Nottinghamshire. The activities of the Committee include raising awareness of carer issues with health and social care staff and providing support to carers through our newsletter and social events with information about mental health and related issues.

West Sussex Learning Links supports adults with learning disabilities to access mainstream learning and leisure and social activities in the community with support from volunteer 'buddies'.
