The aims of the society are to offer support to all families with deaf children, irrespective of level of deafness or method of communication. Provide social activities where deaf children and their families can meet with each other. To ensure that families of deaf children have access to information about education technology and services. PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL/SPORTS FACILITIES FOR THOSE WITH LEARNING AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES. ALSO SOCIAL ACTIVITIES/OUTINGS SEVERAL TIMES PER ANNUM, INCLUDING A WEEKEND AWAY AT, FOR EXAMPLE, A LEISURE PARK. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE SHORT MAT BOWLS, SWIMMING, TABLE TENNIS, BOCCIA, NEW AGE KURLING.

Organising fund raising events and social activities for the school for the benefit of Torquay Boys' Grammar School and its pupils

Providing buildings, equipment & land for sporting activities for persons of all ages, and family friendly events and social activities for the local community.

Members benefit from a programme of visits, day schools, lectures, site tours & social events in the York area & wider. All funds raised contribute directly to the work of York Archaeological Trust for Excavation & Research to further it's important work.

We support the school, children, families, teachers and governors by fundraising to help provide resources and opportunities for everyone. We encourage social interaction and the local community too.

THE VICTORIA HALL WAS GIVEN TO THE COMMUNITY AROUND 1907. THE VICTORIA HALL IS A COMMUNITY CENTRE THAT CATERS FOR, YOUTH, COFFEE MORNINGS, TI CHI, BALLROOM DANCING, BINGO MEETINGS, EXCERCISE CLASSES,KARATE, RUMMAGE SALES, BABMINGTON, MAYORS BALLS AND A FUNCTION ROOM FOR WEDDINGS, PARTIES, AND SOCIAL EVENTS. THE HALL IS USED FOR COUNCIL ELECTIONS, SEMINARS BY THE COUNCILS, BOTH LOCAL AND COUNTY.

Provision of Village Hall facilities for the use of the inhabitants of Goodleigh and surrounding parish for cultural, educational. recreational and social activities.

The Charity provides village hall facilities for the parish of Stonesfield. The many activities and clubs based at the Hall serve all age groups and promote healthy living and social inclusion.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITYEXTERNAL HIRINGS

Provides and maintains Parish Community Centre available for society meetings, recreation, parties and social events.

Fundraising and organisation of social events to purchase additional resources and fund additional opportunities for the school's children to support their education and to build and improve positive relationships between the school and parents and carers of those attending it.

The charity provides educational courses for senior citizens in mid-Hampshire. It also arranges social events many of which supplement the more formalised educational courses.

Community Centre for use by village and surrounding area for all age groups for sports, fund raising, keep fit, marshall arts and many other social activities, including Day Centre. There is also a library, play group and Doctors branch surgery on the site.

Running and caring for the village hall which is an essential part of life in this rural community. Regular fund raising is organised and social events such as the recent Jubilee celebrations.

The charity provides transport, day care activities and meals for our Monday Club for 30 people. On Tuesdays and Fridays Lunch Clubs are organised and run by volunteers. Approximately 100 meals per week are cooked on the premises. Other social activities such as trips and celebrations take place throughout the year.

Arrange various coach Outings to places of interest. Organise various social events eg. concerts, bingo social evenings, luncheon club, Christmas Dinner with entertainment. Provide transport via minibus to events. Organise short break holidays.

Provide catering for visitors. Promote friendship, education, crafts. Provides a hall available to all groups to use. Help to improve the environment.

CARE, MAINTENANCE AND HIRING OUT OF SOUTHAM VILLAGE HALL. REGULAR USER GROUPS INCLUDE KEEP FIT, PILATES, SEQUENCE DANCING, TABLE TENNIS, BRIDGE, DROP-IN, ART GROUP, LACE MAKING CLASSES AND VILLAGE SOCIAL EVENTS..

To provide a means of social and recreational facilities to all persons residing within the parishes of Corse & Staunton and their invited guests.To foster, develop and control the pursuit of amateur sport encouraging an atmosphere of goodwill and friendship.To encourage active participation by all elements of the community, in particular, the young and female members.

MSSC is a sports and social club for visually impaired people and sighted members. We run regular cycling, walking, bowls, darts, swimming, canoeing and social activities including quizzes, theatres, brewery tours and much more from our base in Colliers Wood, Merton. We try to partner with other organisations in Merton and beyond that support us through fundraising and shared activities.
