We have a community gym, roller skating, hire space for sports, run exercise and wellbeing classes. We have sessions aimed at different groups such as parent and babies, older people, and social activities to reduce isolation.

Home - Start offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children, in local communities. Volunteers, who are usually parents themselves are recruited and trained to visit families at home who have at least one child under 5, to offer them informal, friendly and confidential support.

CIRDIC runs two day Centres. One caters for the spritual emotional and practical needs of adults who are homeless or in poor accommodation by providing food, clothing and warmth as well as medical and practical advice and art therapy. The second Centre caters for women with special physical and emotional needs by providing warmth, food, companionship and advice.

The charity (MVS) trains its members in maritime, engineering, operations and communications skills.The MVS has a policy of positive social inclusion and around 30% of members are from the disadvantaged sectors of society.MVS members use their skills to support local and national authorities in times of major events, emergencies both real and exercised and in civil resilience.
