The Grasmere Reading Rooms, is a place where the parishers and boni fide guests have the right to socialise in the bar, play snooker, darts, etc, and the odd music nights, a place for the village to hold meetings.

The hall is used for community functions, operating as a community hub with use by: Skelton village school, local youth, adult and senior groups, meetings, classes etc, as well as a polling station. Its activities include keep fit, theatre, dances, school, church and social gatherings and suppers and is available for private hire for social events. Open to all ages, abilities and ethnicities.

Religious and social activities in Vange Basildon. Church services are Sunday mornings at 11am. Youth meetings Fridays at 8pm. Other activities and groups meet both in our building and via Zoom online. Unless stated otherwise all activities take place in the church building.

For the public benefit. To relieve the needs of homeless persons or those at risk of homelessness in Selby and the surrounding areas by the provision of temporary accommodation, providing food, drink, warmth ,washing facilities, replacement clothing, companionship, advocacy services, signposting and help accessing external support.

Thomas's Fund provides music therapy in Northamptonshire for children with life limiting illnesses(are unlikely to reach adulthood) or a disablilty who for medical reasons are too ill to attend school for extended periods. This enables access to a creative outlet for physical and emotional self-expression, communication and social interaction. Pre-school children are assessed individually.

To promote social inclusion of people between the ages of 14 and 30 years living in Shropshire and elsewhere in the UK by providing them according to Christian principles with an opportunity to develop vocational and personal skills through training thus assisting them to integrate into society.
