All kinds of competitions, social events, accredited training courses, overseas exchanges and many more activities

To provide facilities for elderly people in the Pontardawe area to meet and socialise on a regular basis. This includes social evenings, lunches and excursions.

Our PTA is a voluntary committee of parents, staff and governors, who work together to raise extra funds for the benefit of the children, whilst at the same time, bringing together the whole school community to have fun and socialize with each other.

SCHOOL BASED SOCIAL EVENTS SUCH AS BARN DANCES TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SCHOOL AND BOOST COMMUNITY LINKS

We manage the playing field and children's play area. We raise money and involve village residents in fund raising and social events. Local businesses support our work financially and we have an effective working relationship with them and our Parish Council. Castleton Primary School now use a dedicated woodland area for environmental studies. The field is open to the general public.

THE CHOIR PROVIDES A FRIENDLY OPPORTUNITY FOR MEN IN SOUTH CHESHIRE TO SING SOME 10 CONCERTS PER YEAR. OFTEN, WE SING FOR CHARITABLE CAUSES. WIVES AND PARTNERS TAKE A FULL PART IN CHOIR EVENTS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. WE ARE FORGING NEW CONTRACTS WITH OUR NEW AUTHORITY, CHESHIRE EAST. LINKS WITH TWIN TOWNS IN GERMANY AND POLAND CONTINUE.

Gresham Village Hall has been at the heart of our community for 30 years. Its a place where generations have come together for celebrations, companionship, and support. Our village is made up of people from all walks of life, and the hall remains a warm, welcoming space where everyone is valued and included.

A meeting time for entertainment & social activities. Outings etc.

Support to deaf children and Teenager and their families who live in Derby and Derbyshire, including social activities, Sport, equipment and Transport.

Computer classes for members.Sewing classes for Women.Social activities the elderly and youngsters.ESOL classes.Resource centre for members of the community.

Education and companionship post retirement

The Trustees maintain the grade II listed 'Eyre Chapel' and grounds by encouraging local groups and individuals to hire the hall for lectures and social activities in accordance with our remit in the trust deed.

Rotary is an international service organisation raising funds for local and international charities. Providing friendship and fellowship for it's members.

Education, training, participation in WI national campaigns and friendship through social and community events

Parish hall available for hire by members of the community. The hall currently hosts a number of regular groups (both daytime and evening) and can be hired on an hourly basis for parties, social events etc.

To Empower, Enable And Encourage People With And Without Physical Disabilities To Come Together On Equal Terms To Share Fun Activities And Friendship.We achieve this via social evenings held on alternate Wednesday evenings.

General purpose village hall functions ie. meetings for local activities and parish councils etc. We run regular social events for pensioners and hire out the hall to the community to provide funds to maintain the hall, and to subsidise social events.

Providing premises and facilities for hire to individuals and groups, for example, the church, exercise classes, mums and tots group, local Parish Council and craft group. Arranging social events for the village, for example, parties, quiz nights, musical events, dinners and bingo sessions.

General Charitable activities. Main activity is letting to numerous organisations and charging rent. All local Church social activities are held in the Village Hall - it is the focal point of the Village and various meetings of many organisations are held there, eg.
