Our objectives are to support and enhance the education of the pupils of Highfield CofE Primary School in Southampton.We hold fundraising events; such as the Christmas and Summer Fayres and Parents' social events, to raise fund to allow us to provide the children at the School with experiences and facilities which are beyond the normal school budget.

We are a PTA raising funds for donation to St Andrews School, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire. Funds are raised by gift aid donations, annual fetes and a series of social activities.

Organising social events within the school - ranging from cake sales to xmas/summer fairs to school quiz to raise funds to benefit the children of St. Michaels School.Known as St Michael's PTA for banking purposes.

Ashbourne Singers/Young Ashbourne Singers supported charities in its programme of concerts: - St Oswald?s - British Legion Remembrance - British Heart Foundation - Theo TrustAshbourne Singers has also formed a link with the Orchestra du Soisy sur Seine, France - this is part of the friendship between the two towns - choir visited Soisy in Dec and orchestra came to Ashbourne in May.

Sporting, recreational and associated social activities for the people of Elvington and the surrounding area. This currently includes football, netball, cricket, tennis, yoga and dancing groups.

Raise money for local charities and provide a place for young people from the rural community to meet and socialise.

Recently the association has continued to refurbish and redevelop the 1905 old post office to transform it into a new heritage and research centre. The association also continues to research local history topics, publish books, and hold popular slide shows, talks and social events to raise interest in local history and support the building project and the charities aims.

Supporting education/social activities for children

Polsted Village Hall Management Committee is responsible for the maintenance and letting of the building. In order to enhance the hall's financial well-being the committee runs fund-raising events. The committee also runs some social events which are of benefit to the community, e.g. Village lunch & digital cinema screenings.

Provides educational and cultural activities for the Finnish community in the Camberley area. These include tuition to children and adults in the Finnish language, organisation of social events of interest to those who have a connection with Finland and to provide a centre for Finnish people living in the Camberley area to socialise with their fellow Finns.

Our Society embraces Battersea as a great place to live and work. We celebrate Battersea's past, support its present and promote its future. We run a programme of walks, talks, social events, visits and exhibitions and our rebranded website includes an online shop selling Battersea-themed publications and wares. We publish a quarterly journal and a monthly e-newsletter.

For people with learning disabilities and their families. Aims to enable people with learning disabilities to access leisure and social activities in the community and opportunities for personal development including self-advocacy.Campaigns for the rights of people with a learning disability and works with other organisations and groups for the benefit of people with learning disabilities.

Keep contact with former and serving members of the Regiment, foster mutual friendship/esprit de corps that provides support to the GBA , GWT and Gurkha Museum. Funds provide support for education in schools in Nepal and to branches there for anniversary functions and ad hoc payments to those in need.

We aim provide a Village Hall within the community where each and every member of the surrounding area can socialise in a safe, comfortable and happy environment.

Barley WI exists to support women in our local village community and to promote friendship, develop creative skills, campaign on National and local WI issues and to be involved in activity to support village life.

Our purpose is to enrich the children's time at the school and to contribute to strengthening the school community by developing relationships between parents and with staff of the school. We engage in fundraising activities and organise fun social events for the school community.

BROOKSIDE HALL IS A COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTRE, BUILDING A VOLUNTEER BASE & ENCOURAGING RESIDENTS TO DEVELOP RESOURCES & COMMUNITY COHESION.WE OFFER COURSES TO ENABLE THE MOST VULNERABLE TO INCREASE SELF-CONFIDENCE, EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS & LIFE SKILLS, INCREASING SOCIAL INTERACTION. WE WORK TOWARDS BUILDING LIFE CONFIDENCE & ADDING VALUE TO THE LOCAL RESIDENT'S LIVES.

Our mission is firstly to build relationships between staff, parents and others involved with the school. Secondly, it engages in activities which support the school to advance the education of the pupils attending it through the provision of facilities for education not normally provided by the LEA. This mission is achieved through organising fundraising and social events.

A group of volunteers who give there time to various community coordinated events such as a weekly luncheon club, social events such as bingo and a voluntary car scheme in the parish of Donington, Lincolnshire.
