St James and Emmanuel is a large and diverse church community consisting of 4 Sunday congregations and several small groups. We have close links with St James and Emmanuel Academy Trust and our buildings are used continually throughout the week by church members and the wider community. We run numerous homegroups and activities from youth/children's groups through to work with the disadvantaged.

The Charity promotes the well-being of older people by providing a range of services to improve their quality of life and to enable or assist them to maintain their independence. It achieves this by developing, maintaining and supporting friendship and well-being clubs across Hampshire.

Provision of regular public worship, of sacred space for personal prayer & contemplation.Pastoral work & visiting the sick & the bereaved.Teaching of Christianity through sermons, small groups & school assemblies.Providing a youth club with Christian ethos.Promoting the whole mission of the Church in Wales community cohesion of activities for older people, parents&toddlers & other specific groups.

Young & Inspired advocates for children and families facing poverty or adverse childhood circumstances and provides wraparound support throughout their childhood and as they transition into independent adults. Programs Include:Conquer The Kitchen program, empowering very young mothers to cook wholesome food economically,Flying Colours Arts, Sunshine Breakfast Club, Water Sports, Holiday Club

Promotion of Orthodox Jewish faith and relief of poverty

We provide funds to charities to help alleviate the impacts of poverty in India.

Activities includes programmes in the following areas; schools, disability, amateur sport, health, social inclusion, women and girls and volunteer programmes. Programmes, consist of three core activities - education, suitable physical activity and social inclusion.

Throughcare Housing and Support, (THS), offers support, guidance and in most cases accommodation to victims of Forced Marriages and Domestic Violence. We also offer our services to young homeless people and asylum seekers aged between 16 and 25. We also offer guidance and escort duties for minors.

To serve and benefit not only the local congregation but humanity in line with teachings of Quran and sunnah of the last Prophet (pbuh) through interfaith and intercommunity dialogue, relief of poverty, youth activites, educational services, environmental awareness and the general promotion of peace, love, mutual understanding and harmony across society irrelevant of sex, race, religion or creed.

Provision of transport to those residents of Calderdale and Kirklees who cannot access alternatives for reasons of disability (mental & physical), ill health, old age, geographical isolation, poverty or social exclusion.

Relief of poverty and the advancement of education and of religion and other such purposes for the benefit of the public

The charity aims to help local community groups through, for example, the provision of loans to Social Enterprises, charities, not-for-profit organisations & Responsible Finance providers. Our mission is to create positive change for vulnerable & disadvantaged groups across the United Kingdom through the provision of finance to viable social ventures that have been refused traditional bank lending

To provide no or low-cost access to skills for resource-poor charities and public organisations, enabling them to reach their potential. To help people with career skills to use their talents and experience to secure a fulfilling volunteering role, in turn allowing charities to thrive and prosper.To provide a trustee recruitment service to charities and to professionals looking for a board role.

The provision of food parcels and other items to those referred to us by local professional agencies/groups and who have been identified as in a emergency or crisis situation.

4Sight provides about 5000 vision impaired people with information, guidance & on-going support to promote independence & prevent social isolation following sight loss. We help people to access advice, equipment, skills & services needed to improve health & wellbeing, build confidence & participate actively in their community and family life.4Sight also campaigns to remove barriers to inclusion

We are an award-winning Riding For The Disabled Group based in Southwest London offering equine therapy: riding, carriage driving, hippotherapy and stable yard activities to hundreds of children and adults with physical, sensory and learning disabilities, plus those with mental health issues and those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to improve their mental and physical wellbeing.

To advance the Christian faith in the UK/the world; to relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind including through the provision of counselling and support in the UK/the world; to advance education in the UK/the world

The Trust makes grants to charitable organisations/projects involving research/ education in economic and social sciences with a particular focus on the causes, prevention or relief of poverty. The Trust also makes grants to charitable organisations in fields other than education and research, & occasionally to individuals in charitable need to further the education of the individuals concerned.

-Raising public awareness on the issues of Honour Based Abuse and Forced Marriages.-Providing confidential, listening support, options and guidance to all victims and survivors of Honour Based Abuse through the Honour Network Helpline.-Providing specific support and guidance to victims and agencies to reduce risk and isolation and increase their safety.

To promote and protect the physical and mental health of persons who have autism spectrum conditions through the provision of assistance , support, education and practical advice and to advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to autism.The promotion of social inclusion among persons who have ASC.
