Winner, the Preston Road Women's Centre provides services to women and children including Nursery, domestic violence support, activities for young women, accommodation, training and volunteering opportunities as well as affordable second hand goods through our charity shop. Women are encouraged and supported to achieve their full potential and resume control of their lives through positive choice

The main activity of the Charity is to make grants to organisations whose objectives are the alleviation of poverty amongst the Jewish community and the furtherance of Jewish religious education.

Friendship at Home (FAH) CIO started in September 2006, The aim of our organisation is to help combat isolation and loneliness across NEL and to improve older people?s quality of life. We offer a range of support including: information and advice, one to one and telephone befriending; social and exercise clubs, dementia support and support after hospital discharge.

We are a Christian organisation whose objectives and activities are to relieve need or hardship in Reading. We work in three specific areas:1. ReadiFood - acting as Reading's foodbank2. We are a foodbank and support charity based in Penge, South East London. Our mission is to ensure that people have food, guidance and support of an uplifting community to live life to the fullest.Our services are free to use and include a foodbank, clothes bank, hot meals, free cafe, community choir, counselling and help with benefits,debt and housing issues.

Kingswood Community Transport is a charity that provides demand-responsive transport for the residents of South Gloucestershire, including Acton Turville, Bitton, Cadbury Heath, Cold Ashton, Downend, Doynton, Dyrham and Hinton, Frenchay, Hanham, Hanham Abbots, Kingswood, Longwell Green, Mangotsfield, Marshfield, Oldland, Pucklechurch, Siston, Staple Hill, Tormarton, Warmley, Wick and Abson.

The charity provides a range of services including Wellibus, a door to door community transport scheme, a Volunteer Wellbeing Car Service and Shopmobility for the elderly, disabled and individuals who have difficulty in accessing public transport.

We support families bereaved of a child (any age) by providing one-to-one and group bereavement counselling sessions, along with a variety of support groups. We also actively campaign to raise awareness of the Organ Donor Register in an attempt to help to increase the number of people who sign up for this.

Our Centre, which opened in 1964, supports local people of all ages and needs with a wide range of activities, interventions, learning experiences and events.
