To provide emergency food aid

Wings works with disadvantaged children, young people and adults in one of the poorest areas in the UK. Through mentoring, befriending and offering an exciting portfolio of collaboratively designed learning, recreational and motivational activities, our aim is to help them gain skills, while raising confidence, resilience and self-esteem and ultimately giving each individual hope for the future.

The main objectives of the synagogue is to further the advancement of Liberal Judaism. It provides a place of worship, provides rabbinical services, arranges conversions to Judaism, the solemnisation of marriages and funerals to members. It provides a religion school for children and adult education and a friendship club for senior members and the wider community.

In general, the trustees have set the main aims of the Charity as assisting individuals of small means and other charitable organisations with the needs of, or in the relief of poverty as defined by the Charitable Commission. Cornwater Evergreens supports older people and those with cognitive impairments across Nottinghamshire. Our clubs in Ravenshead, Rainworth, Kirkby, and Mansfield foster a welcoming community, serving meals and offering activities that encourage friendship, inclusion, and vitality.

Our vision is 'No young person limited by disadvantage'. We focus our work in the Brunswick Ward area of Leamington, delivering activities, creating opportunities and providing support to help disadvantaged young people transition to a self-assured adulthood. We connect with and support young people aged 8-18 and their families through clubs, cafes and mentoring.

Armley Helping Hands is supports older people in deprived inner-city Leeds, We were set up in 1995, by a group of local people and community activists. They were concerned about the welfare of local older people. by providing a range of services, advice, support and varied social and healthy living activities, enabling older people to live independently and to pro-actively participate.

Weekend Retreats and other services for bereaved men.

Feeding Liverpool is Liverpool's food alliance, working towards the prevention and relief of poverty in Liverpool and its surrounding areas. We tell the stories of people who have experiences of food insecurity, we run a program of events and lead projects which connect, support and equip people and organisations to work towards good food for all.

We provide accommodation in bed-sitting rooms or suites, all with en-suite toilet/shower for 11 elderly people, who provide their own breakfasts and evening snacks. We provide a midday dinner and a meal at 6.30. The house has a large garden, and a pleasant lounge and dining room. There are some social activities.

We work in Bihar; one of the poorest and remote areas of India where we support over a hundred villages in which we establish education centres, provide teachers, support for orphans and widows, clean water supplies. Our education centre houses students from poor families and all expenses for food, studies, books, accommodation, pocket money, etc are borne by the charity.

To provide adequate recreational facilities including dancing, gymnastics, playing fields, skate park, and community activities for the benefit of the residents of South Tyneside, in the interests of social welfare and the object of advancing education, furthering health and wellbeing, relieving poverty and distress. We also offer a wide range of room and facilities for community hire and use.

Hand in Hand is passionate about giving hope, to orphaned and vulnerable children in East Africa by giving access to education, training, mentorship and support. Our aim is that the students become self-sufficient and able to break the cycle of poverty that they have been born into. We work with trusted partners on the ground who are addressing an identified need within their communities.

The objects of the Charity are the advancement of health and the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or financial hardship for the benefit of the entire population of the City of Nottingham and the County of Nottinghamshire and elsewhere.

We deliver projects and services meeting the economic, social and environmental needs of the people of Berwick-upon-Tweed. We provide advice and training to people seeking employment. We manage the local foodbank, provide benefit advice and advocate on behalf of residents with local agencies. We manage a community building and run economic development projects.

To advance the christian faith both locally and worldwide and as an expression of christian love to relieve sickness and financial hardship, to promote and preserve good health and to advance education.
