IN SELECTING RESIDENTS FOR MERCHANT VENTURERS' ALMSHOUSES PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO MARINERS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS. IN SELECTING RESIDENTS FOR COLSTON'S ALMSHOUSE PREFERENCE SHOULD BE GIVEN TO MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND.

Pioneer Projects employs arts-based activities to improve wellbeing, develop skills, enhance learning, encourage social inclusion, support individuals confidence-building and promote healthy approaches to life and living. We offer a variety of arts-based activities to the whole community, as well as some specifically for distinct vulnerable groups facing exclusion and health inequalities.

Fountain of Mercy is a charitable organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the needy worldwide by distributing aid, food and clothing. We also provide support to vulnerable children and adults including those with additional needs within the UK and abroad.

The charity provides a house and grounds, St Katharine's Parmoor, which is primarily a retreat centre and open to all faiths and denominations. The house and grounds are also used by local old people and youth groups, disadvantaged children, and young people. the grounds are used for training, educating and equipping homeless and disadvantaged young people in horticulture.

To relieve children in Kenya who are in need by reason of sickness and distress, in paticular children who are homeless, by providing and assisting in the provision of shelter, food and clothing, and to advance the education of such children

Stitches in Time devise and deliver arts, educational and community development programmes in Tower Hamlets and across London. We provide a forum for culturally diverse and disadvantaged groups to work together, and raise levels of confidence and skills-based learning for women, young people and older people. Our projects are devised with and at the request of our diverse local community.

Community Rersources for Change seeks to support isolated members of the community through befriending, lobbying and offering advocacy. Various services and courses are offered, with the help of volunteers, to empower vulnerable people.The charity also runs a community coffee shop.

TO ENCOURAGE MUSIC-MAKING THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY AND TO PLACE PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON WORKING WITH DISADVANTAGED GROUPS THROUGHOUT WALES.

Provision, at its purpose built residential centre, of free & highly subsidised respite and educational breaks for disadvantaged children from Bristol and the surrounding area.

The project's objectives are to provide counselling and emotional support to women in Leicestershire who have experienced sexual abuse and who are in circumstances of need, hardship and distress.
