The Trust provides bursaries to the families of choristers of St Paul's Cathedral in cases of financial hardship or lack of means to defray the costs of boarding. It also provides grants to the cathedral towards the education of choristers. In addition it makes grants to the Cathedral School to assist in the costs relating to the fabric or for other projects within the foundations objectives.

1 . To advance the religion of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Greater Manchester and India by maintaining the faith, tradition and doctrines of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox church and shall perform all the religious rites and sacraments to all its members in accordance with the ancient Syrian Orthodox tradition. 2. To relieve poverty and sickness in Greater Manchester and India.

1. Provision and maintenance of residential accommodation at Thrale Almshouses, 27 Polworth Road, London SW16 and provision of benefits for residents.2. Provision of relief for persons resident in the Ancient Parish of Streatham who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress ("Relief in Need").

Holding regular acts of public worship. Providing pastoral care for members of our community. Provision of activities to support need in the community. Letting premises for community organisations. Supporting other charities with finance and prayer inaccordance with christian values to promote christian mission and by addressing poverty andsocial need in both UK and the World.

The trust exists to help improve the life of vulnerable and disadvantaged people, to create an equal world where women and men have the same value in society; where women have the same opportunities as men and boys without fear of prejudice, harassment or violence and unconstrained by harmful norms and stereotypes, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, disability, religion or sexual orientation.

Provision of housing accommodation for those living within the area of benefit; provision and maintenance of amenity land to be used for recreation; making grants or providing goods, services or facilities to relieve beneficiaries who are in need, hardship or distress; making grants for the general benefit of inhabitants of the area of benefit.

The Charity also operates under the name of Hachnosas Orchim Noam Shabbos (London).The object is to the provide Sabbath and Festival meals,promote the advancement of Education and Learning of the Jewish Religion, and the relief of poverty, and assisstance for the aged, vulnerable and infirm, and such other purposes as recognised by English Law as charitable.

Girlguiding North Yorkshire West County is part of Girlguiding.Girlguiding's vision: Through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure we empower girls to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community.

The advancement of education and the relief of poverty in Africa with the main activities currently focused on Tanzania where the charity finances the construction of girls dormitories and teachers accommodation for village schools and also pays for a field officer to train villagers in running VSLAs (Village Savings and Loan Associations)

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION , CULTURAL ACTIVITES AND ELIMINATION OF POVERTY.

The Charity pursues activites that are of benefit to the residents of central Hartlepool and which will promote sustainable means of achieving economic growth by the following means:1. Provision of home support and play groups to disadvantaged families with young children.

To provide financial help and support to poor persons and the general community in the parishes of Chipping, Thornley with Wheatley and Leagram with Bowland. To maintain the two Almshouses and provide accommodation for poor persons of good character.

Middlesbrough Foodbank provides three days of nutritionally balanced emergency food to people in crisis. Vouchers are issued via frontline professionals, including doctors, health visitors, social workers, Citizens Advice Bureau staff, welfare officers, the police and probation officers. Vouchers can then be exchanged for food at various distribution centres across Middlesbrough.

The Need Project exists to provide compassionate and practical Christian responses to all our neighbours who are experiencing the effects of poverty and hardship. Our responses include the provision of food parcels for as long as required and resources allow, and where possible access to a safe place where our neighbours can come and be supported in finding the help they need in their journey.

We provide low cost furniture and domestic appliances to disadvantaged people particularly in the areas of Burnley and Pendle.We provide work experience placements with accredited training for the long term unemployed and volunteers. We help to preserve the environment by reducing the volume of bulky furniture and appliance waste that would otherwise go to landfill.

Our Charity provides opportunities for disadvantaged inner city children to enhance their life chances through sailing.

The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation is a charity for the community and beyond, to help those who are vulnerable and need support. This ranges from individual food parcels to doorstep visits and phone calls, teaching people to cook on a budget, renovating spaces to improve mental well-being, affordable hair cuts, running social clubs & events and supplying local schools with hampers and breakfast boxes.

Support for single mother families who have experienced domestic abuse and family breakup:Essentials and Food Parcels: Providing basic necessities to those in need.Mental Health Support: Helping women and their children develop resilience, healing, and relationship skills.Peer Support: Reducing isolation and building a supportive community.

The Jacob Abraham Foundation aims to help prevent suicide through direct intervention with vulnerable people, raise awareness on mental health/suicide issues, promote positive mental health and support people bereaved through suicide in Wales.

Colchester Gateway Clubs provides social clubs and activities for adults with learning disabilities. Our activities include craft, art, socialising, drama, music, dance, disco, trips, weekends away. We also provide an advocacy and support service to people with learning disabilities and their families/carers.

Raising funds and providing donated toys to needy homes and institutions, for children in the UK who are sick, disabled, terminally ill or from socially deprived environments.
