CCB is an independent rural community development charity. Our vision is for all communities in Berkshire to be strong, resilient, sustainable and able to take control of their own futures. Our purpose is to inspire action at a community level that reduces poverty & rural disadvantage, improves rural health & wellbeing and increases digital inclusion & social connectedness.

The primary activity is to bring together Muslims from Black African Communities to hold prayers and celebrate religious festivals as a community. It also supports members to address issues of concern like social exclusion, community cohesion, employment, and other social economic issues linked with immigrant communities, through support groups, workshops, seminars, training & pastoral care.

The Lorna Young Foundation works to support producers in developing countries to improve their livelihoods by adding value to their activities through education, training and direct economic support. Its UK projects promote education, information and work opportunities through community-owned ethical and fair trading enterprises, with a particular focus on disadvantaged groups.

Community play and youth provision delivering enriching activities that improve wellbeing of disadvantaged children and young people aged 5 to 16. Operates from purpose built premises in the Golborne ward of North Kensington, Kensington and Chelsea, London.

To develop services and activities which improve the quality of life for older people, living in Richmond Hill and the surrounding areas, who have a particular and identifiable need. Activities include: Home visits, drop-in, advocacy and advice, information, sign-posting. Activities that promote social inclusion; lunch clubs, friendship group, art group, exercise group. Project HOPE UK works in developing countries and with communities in crisis wherever they may be, to reduce the impact of poverty by improving health, through targeted health education, strategic health-related training, the provision of emergency humanitarian assistance and modelling innovation and best practice leading to sustainable health improvements.

The Footprint Trust seeks to reduce the ecological footprint of the Isle of Wight. We work with households in fuel poverty- raising issues regarding better more efficient use of energy. We work in schools and attend public events to promote sustainable living and a greater understanding of the environment . To primarily relieve poverty and promote and protect good health by providing a retreat centre for those most in need of a place of safety, family reconnection or a break from the stresses of every day life.With life skills courses on budgeting, job seeking and eating healthy on a budget and providing items / goods as appropriate in order to relieve poverty which they could not otherwise afford

We are a church affiliated to Assemblies of God. We hold regular Sunday services, prayer meetings and small group studies. Various courses and events are run to attract people from outside the church. We run a foodbank 2 days a week and host Hope67 Community Money Advice. We are involved in joint prayer and outreach events working with local churches.

The relief of barriers to gaining employment for the benefit of people in poverty or in need, living in Wales, by making grants of money for providing or paying for items, services or the advancement of education, which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means.Provision of lightly used and new clothing to social housing tenants through the Working Wardrobe projects.

St Mellitus is a church at the heart of Hanwell seeking to follow Jesus and serve the diverse needs of the community. We meet for services on Sundays and Wednesdays and hold a wide range of other activities: regular social events, a weekly toddler group, Messy Church and youth group. We are passionate about building a community where people from all walks of life feel welcome and can call home.

The object of the charity is the relief of persons resident in the area of benefit who are in need, hardship or distress. The trustees may relieve prsons in need by making grants of money to them or providing or paying for goods, services or facilities for them or making grants of money to other persons or bodies who provide goods, services or facilities to those in need.

The Charity promotes the Christian Faith through providing regular public worship and teaching for all; providing training, nurture and activities for children and young people; serving the community through giving pastoral care and support to members and others in need, particularly those in sickness, distress or poverty and providing premises and resources for community groups and activities.

Education, training and workshops, seminars, social events, recreation and cultural activities. Advice surgeries on welfare rights, housing and health care, literacy, basic ESOL and Computer Skills, supplementary school for children and young people, and elderly people; employment, interpreting, ethnic and cultural events, drop-in centre and after school club.

The Objects of the Charity are1)The advancement of the Orthodox Jewish Religion and its Education,along with Education generally.2) The active support of Talmudic Research to address complex issues. 3) The relief of poverty, infirmity,mental and physical illness.4) The provision of facilities for Disabled Persons.5) such other charitable purposes which are Charitable under the Law.

We provide transport for those without their own transport and unable to access public transport.
