The Charity operates under the auspices of the Church of England Diocese of Chelmsford in carrying out the following activites:*supporting Christian Mission through tithing its unrestricted income;*providing and operating a Christian place of worship and prayer;*providing a community resource in terms of spaces for hire and a concert venue*running a Food Hub and CAP Debt Centre

Two Magpies Fund awards small grants to local charities and not for profit organisations working with women who have experienced abuse, as well as organisations helping children growing up in poverty.

Practical, community-based action against poverty and marginalisation in North Cornwall. Developing innovative, sustainable projects such as a Foodbank, furniture project, supported volunteering, advice & training. Working in partnership with statutory and professional organisations to support our clients in the community & help them to be self-sufficient and to restore dignity & revive hope.

To provide a community transport service to such of the inhabitants of the Isle of Wight who are in need of such a service because of age, sickness, disability (mental or physical) or poverty or because of lack of availability of safe and adequate public passenger services.

To further the well-being of older people and the wider community in Teignmouth/Shaldon by supporting healthy living, through the provision of a community centre with meals (including a meal delivery service), activities and clubs. Activities include: fitness classes, table tennis, oriental dancing, music sessions, a memory cafe, digital skills, bingo, cookery classes, craft and social events.

The function of the PCC is outlined in the Parochial Church Councils (Powers) Measure 1956. The primary function of the PCC is to promote in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. These functions have various public benefits such as in the advancement of education by our engagement with local schools, and in the relief of poverty and need.

Antioch provides a community facility which is a base for - food/clothes bank, community businesses, business start-up units, children's play facilities, youth clubs, recording/rehearsal studios, conference/meeting rooms for hire by the local community, Sunday meetings, support groups, arts events, national conferences, training facilities for volunteers and young people.

To support parents with young families in the Boroughs of Woking & Runnymede who are struggling to cope. Reasons may include physical or mental illness, isolation, bereavement or multiple births. Home visiting volunteers provide non-judgemental, practical and emotional support and help to build the family's confidence and ability to cope.

Advancement of the Christian faith for the benefit of the public by providing regular opportunities for people to see, hear, or read the message of the Christian Gospel and by providing financial support to missionaries, missionary organisations or other churches which operate in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.Relief of hardship through the provision of grants, gifts, goods or services.

Supporting adults with an autism spectrum condition to achieve their potential as individuals and facilitate their social inclusion by funding specialist mentoring from appropriate providers on a one to one basis to help them obtain and retain employment and by funding their participation in training activities which are relevant to improving their employability.

Home-Start is a national family support charity helping parents build better lives for their children by offering support, friendship and practical help. As an infrastructure and support organisation, Home-Start London facilitates the delivery of more varied and effective services to a large number of vulnerable families across the Capital, particularly in areas and pockets of extreme deprivation.

Public worship Services on the Lord's Day; mid-week meetings for Bible study and prayer, open air preaching meetings; door-to-door distribution of Christian literature; evangelistic youth meetings. Public meetings on matters such as Biblical Christian living. Wedding and Funeral services. The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

Confidence building activities, adventure training expeditions and events for serving and injured service personnel ,emergency service members and disadvantaged members of the community and families.

To promote such charitable purposes for the benefit of members of the Black and Minority Ethnic Communities in the Humber region and in particular, the relief of poverty, hardship and distres; the promotion, preservation and protection of health; and the promotion of equality of opportunities and access to all facilities and services available to all citizens within the area of benefit.

The Church brings the Christian message to people, serving the vulnerable, displaced and marginalised by providing space for the Bromley Borough food bank, Bromley Homeless charity and Bromley GP Alliance clinics for homeless people. Many other charities and community organisations hire space. There is a community interest cafe on weekdays run by CANDI (Creative and Neuro-Diverse Innovations).

The Peter Cruddas Foundation's main activity is to help young disadvantaged and disengaged young people in England and Wales achieve more. We do this by giving grants to charities registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. We wish to build relationships with our supported organisations and foster collaboration between charities whenever we can.

The DMRC Benevolent Fund has a purpose to benefit the serving members of the armed forces with essentialwelfare provision through social events, social amenities and sporting and adventurous training opportunities.This provides Service personnel with social rehabilitation whilst recovering from life changing injuries andillness to achieve optimal fitness.

The main activities of the charity are the examination and licensing of deep sea pilots, the relief of poor mariners and their widows, and the provision of youth maritime training, the provision of maritime consultancy services, and the upkeep and conservation of ancient listed buildings.

Broxtowe Youth Homelessness works to prevent homelessness amongst 16-25 year olds. This is achieved through an education programme and the use of peer educators. BYH also operates an emergency food parcel scheme, provides homelessness training for organisations and individuals, promotes inter-agency work and produces resources for young people and agencies.
