Bangladesh Welfare Society of Barnet (BWSB) We seek to meet the needs of the ever growing Muslim community in and around Barnet by providing and facilitating good practice in faith, community development, educational services and interfaith social cohesion. GINGKO works to improve mutual understanding between the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the West. We fund and publish innovative research into the history, art history and religions of the MENA region. We bring together people from MENA and the West for transformative interfaith and intercultural encounters.

To benefit the public by education and ordination of mature adults in the core principles and practices of the world religions, faiths and spiritual traditions, principles and methods of forgiveness, reconciliation and peacemmaking, and the practice of non-denominational spiritual ceremony and pastoral service in the community.

The Madina Mosque and Islamic Centre is mandate to meet the needs of the local community by facilitating education, good practice in faith, community development, social cohesion and interfaith dialogue.

The Friends of French Institute aims to support the educational and cultural activities of the French Institute, such as showing French and European films, plays, lectures and concerts of classical music, and promoting contemporary music. The French Institute exists to promote French language and culture, but also to encourage cross-cultural exchanges.

The synagogue promotes Liberal Judaism, for the benefit of the public good. It does so by providing a place of worship; conducting religious ceremonies; raising awareness of religious beliefs and practices; providing pastoral care and outreach; promoting interfaith activities; and educating people about and generally advancing the religion.

Island House is a community centre providing education classes for adults; youth and family support projects; health promotion activities; and opportunities for inter-faith dialogue. Meeting rooms and offices are available for local community groups and charities that complement the work of the centre. A chapel offers Christian worship in the tradition of the United Reformed Church.

Umbrella group for all black and minority ethnic groups in and around Cambridge.Aims: Promote racial harmony and equal opportunity; work with local and national agencies for BME groups; support victims of racial discrimination.
