Activities & Mission

The objective of the charity is to improve, protect & preserve the population of song & other small birds for the benefit of national biodiversity & the public. It aims to achieve this by commissioning & funding scientific research, supporting the conservation & restoration of habitats, by education of the public & advocacy where changes in the law may be deemed necessary to protect songbirds.
