ASTO distributes bursary funds to member organisations to support the provision of Sail Training opportunities in the UK. It organises events such as the Small Ships' Races to promote Sail Training, runs international exchanges with other Sail Training organisations, and encourages greater participation. It gathers evidence of the outcomes and actively promotes Sail Training and its benefits.
