To promote the benefit of inhabitants of Fratton, without distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinions by associating with local authorities, voluntary organisation and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation therefore improving life conditions of said inhabitants.
