TO GENERATE FUNDS TO PROVIDE A FREE BONFIRE AND FIREWORK DISPLAY FOR THE ENTIRE VILLAGE AND SURROUNDING AREA, AND TO PROVIDE A CHRISTMAS TREE AND CRIB FOR DISPLAY IN THE CENTRE OF THE VILLAGE. THE LIGHTING OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE IS AT AN OPEN AIR CAROL SERVICE WITH MUSIC PROVIDED BY LOCAL MUSICIANS AND SCHOOLS. THERE IS A VISIT FROM FATHER CHRISTMAS WHERE EACH CHILD IS GIVEN A SMALL GIFT.
