Activities & Mission

The CIO achieves its objectives by renting The Cedars, a Grade II listed Regency town house in Chertsey, to Runnymede Borough Council under a long-term agreement. The Council runs a local history museum from The Cedars known as Chertsey Museum. Under the agreement the Council curates, stores and displays items from the collection. The CIO pays the Council a contribution towards its costs.
