We interest and stimulate people who have time on their hands through retirement, unemployment or diminishing family responsibilities. We have no permanent teachers or buildings, require no academic qualifications nor do we issue diplomas or degrees. We have term-time general meetings and special-interest groups. For the general meetings we use both our own members and outside speakers.
