Furtherance of the religious and charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in the area of the Area Meeting (Taunton, Bridgwater, Minehead, Ilminster, Burnham-on-Sea, Wellington, Uffington and around) and beyond. Seven local Quaker Meetings are supported and enabled to work together to provide Meetings for Worship and witness. Meeting Houses are let to local organisations.
