StrayKind, formerly known as Animal Care Trust (ACT), transforms the lives of suffering stray and wild animals in Taiwan, via a 24-hour rescue service providing emergency veterinary attention. Wildlife is released when healthy, if possible. All other animals are rehomed or given lifelong sanctuary at our sites. Most of our rescues involve dogs and other animals maimed by traps and snares.

Rossett and Burton Village Hall is used for a number of activities supported by the community, including Karate school, Zumba, Pilates, Dog Training, Drama Groups, Dance classes, Farmers Market,Coffee mornings, fundraising events. The Hall is used on 300 plus days a year and activities are expanding as the facilities are improved.

We take in and re home small animals that are lost or abandoned. We microchip vaccinate and re home. We also neuter as many cats and dogs as we can and help those on low income to pay their vet bills.

The R.G.O.A. Trust cares for and homes greyhounds for owners of greyhounds that raced at Romford Greyhound when their racing careers are over. The retired greyhounds enter our rented kennels, they are fed & exercised and generally cared for until they can be homed. By advertising in newspapers, notice boards, website etc, we invite the public to visit our kennels and select a suitable greyhound.

Our aim is to heal, rehabilitate and rehome as many disabled dogs as possible, and in the process demonstrate to the public the pleasure of owning a disabled dog

K-9RR's main objective is to stop as many dogs as possible from going into rescue. We do this by running training to help rescue dog owners to understand their dogs behaviour, the law with regard to owning a dog, their responsibility as owners and first aid. They train to pass the Kennel Club's Good Citizens Scheme. In addition K-9RR is also a small foster-based rescue for all breeds of dogs.

LBDR take in and re-home large breed dogs. We have a strict non destruct policy and never put a dog to sleep unless advised by a vet. All dogs are neutered, vaccinated & microchipped before re-homing. We are a user led community music group that provides music sessions in purpose built studios for beginners to ex professional musicians who have suffered mental health problems, addictions or disabilities. The Project is keen to be involved with enabling its members to establish themselves into the wider community and challenge any form of discrimination experienced during their recovery journey.

The hall is hired out to Pre-school group, Cricket clubs, Probus, Woodmancote Society, Indoor Bowling club, Scouts, Cubs, Guides and Brownies etc., Dog handling, Women's Institute, Bishops Cleeve U3A, parties, village events, and the Parish Council meet monthly.
