A Charitable Trust set up by The Guild of the Nineteen Lubricators to 'Help the lame dog over the stile'

Alleviate distress caused to the breed of dog known as Golden Retrievers which may be ill treated, abandoned or neglected. In cases where Golden Retrievers are abandoned or unwanted, or the dogs can no longer be cared for in their present homes, to re-home the Golden Retrievers to ensure their future well being.

The Trust employs several people in Christian ministry in the Bridgnorth area.The Trust provides financial support to various other Christian ministries in Shropshire, in the UK and overseas.

British Breed Society for Connemara Ponies

We work to make sure every young person knows the common signs and symptoms of cancer, and when to go and see their GP. We run a variety of events within universities, and also do other talks and workshops in colleges and businesses. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs who are in need of care. We have a no destruction policy and never put a healthy dog to sleep. Full assessment is completed whilst the dogs are in our care to ensure that when rehomed they can be matched to the right family. We will then offer life time advice, support, and rescue back up to the dogs which we have rehomed.

RESCUE, REHOMING AND SANCTUARY FOR DOMESTIC & FERAL CATS

The charity takes in animals who are stray,abandoned or in need of a care for whatever reason and re-homes to suitable vetted new owners. A neutering service is also a major part of the charities work. Feral cat colonies are also trapped and neutered and returned where possible to their original site. The charity works closely with other similar like minded charities in the Powys area.

The charity promotes humane behaviour towards dogs both in the UK and Romania, by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment, safe shelter and security for dogs in need by reason of mistreatment, abandonment, poor circumstances or ill usage. We actively seek homes for rescued animals and advance public understanding of dog welfare by providing training support to adopters

K9focus is a rescue which has the sole aim of rescuing abused and abandoned dogs.

For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of dogs and cats in Serbia which are in need of care and attention and in particular, to maintain and support rescue facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals and to provide these facilities for such animals while actively seeking new homes for rescued animals. Providing foster/adoption homes for Hungarian Vizslas throughout the UK, maintaining lifelong contact with every re-homed dog, ensuring that those dogs need of veterinary care/attention receive the appropriate care and treatment before re-homing, promoting responsible ownership and responsible breeding of Hungarian Vizslas. Also organising/supporting fundraising activities.

The Charity's objects are to promote Registered Exmoor Ponies and to encourage and maintain the standards of ponies used for breeding and to form and publish a stud book for the registration of Exmoor ponies. The Charity seeks to educate the public on the attributes of this rare native breed and act in an advisory capacity in reported cases of ill treatment of Registered Exmoor Ponies.

We promote and support educational and recreational facilities for children and adults regardless of their physical or mental ability to enable them to ride, enjoy and learn about horses & ponies. We also participate in prevention of cruelty to all equines, and in improving the standard of horses & ponies by promoting selective breeding and researching matters relevent to equine health.

The rescue and homing of unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens

A not-for-profit cat rescue group run by volunteers. We rescue and, if possible, re-home ill-treated and unwanted domestic and feral cats and kittens, and those who are elderly, with special needs and FIV+. We are a "no kill" organisation and if a cat is unhomeable due to age, temperament or health condition we keep that cat in care for the duration of its life.

Assisting the care of stray and unwanted dogs.

The charity commenced activities in October 2020, delivering an Equine facilitated behavioral change programme, outdoor learning and campfire sessions as well as animal interaction clubs. The charity also delivers access to some Heritage crafts, such as willow weaving and peg loom weaving, and gardening skills.

StrayKind, formerly known as Animal Care Trust (ACT), transforms the lives of suffering stray and wild animals in Taiwan, via a 24-hour rescue service providing emergency veterinary attention. Wildlife is released when healthy, if possible. All other animals are rehomed or given lifelong sanctuary at our sites. Most of our rescues involve dogs and other animals maimed by traps and snares.
