Lloyd's Patriotic Fund supports serving and ex-service members of the British Armed Forces and their families, with a particular focus on those who are disabled or facing poverty, illness and hardship.

The object of the trust is to provide childcare to Service, ex-Service and civilian families.The charity offers a flexible, safe and nurturing environment that takes into account the specific needs of these children and families.The charity aims to improve the lives of vulnerable young children by employing professionals to provide stability and offer high quality, continuity of care.

Inform and encourage the engagement of the public and armed forces personnel, including members of the Army Medical Services (AMS), in the role of the AMS in pioneering medical developments and innovations, in particular those that have subsequently been adopted into civilian healthcare practice, to the benefit of the health and wellbeing of the British public at large and humankind in general.

Support for current and ex members of the Regiment and their dependents.

The Society distributes copies of the Bible, New Testaments and Psalms and illustrative material to the United Kingdom armed forces personnel and their associates, to the forces of the Commonwealth and other nations, all merchant seafarers, United Kingdom police, fire and rescue services and others.

Veterans in Communities is an ex-services charity based in East Lancashire. Established in September 2012, VIC supports ex-service personnel, their families and members of the uniformed services who have experienced difficulties re-integrating with the community on returning to civilian life.

The charity provides a range of legal services to current and former members of the Armed Forces, or their bereaved families, where there has been bullying, sexual harassment, sexual or domestic or racist abuse, violence or neglect. The charity undertakes educational and outreach work within and relevant to the Armed Forces, promoting the rule of law, human rights and access to justice.

The charity provides venue in which social, recreational and educational activities can be held, an equal opportunities policy ensures equality for all.

To let 16 dwelling houses, in the first instance to disabled ex-service men who have resided in the City of Birmingham for not less than two years consecutively.The Trust may let to poor persons, giving preference to elderly persons, in the case of an insufficiency of ex-service men.

The relief of former members of the Armed Forces of the Crown who served during WWII. The commemoration of those who died while on active service, through an annual visit to Normandy for veterans of the D-Day landings. The education of the public, especially younger generations, in the history of WWII in particular through the memories of veterans.

A Sea Scout Group providing a huge array of activities and training, on and off the water, offering #Skillsforlife to young people aged 6 to 25 and beyond. It is a Royal Yachting Association Teaching Establishment and British Rowing Accredited delivering training to national governing body standards. The Group is Royal Navy recognised and affiliated to the Royal British Legion.

The promotion of the efficiency of Her Majesty's Army and in particular the Regiment and of any unit of the Regiment or the Regimental Association of the Regiment in such a manner as Trustees shall from time to time determine. The provision of financial assistance for former and serving members of the Regiment or former Regiments, or the dependents thereof who are in need, hardship or distress.

The charity is established to provide almshouse accommodation to:1) persons who are resident or have at some time resided in the area of benefit,2) ex-service personnel, or3) aged or infirm persons who are resident or have at some time resided in the area of benefit.

To relieve financial hardship, need, suffering and distress amongst veterans of all branches of the armed forces and their partners, spouses and dependants.To promote the resettlement and rehabilitation of former armed forces personnel into the civilian community.. To advance education and vocational training for former armed forces personnel .

The Trust owns and manages the 6 houses and 8 flats, housing 22 adult residents, in the Recreation Ground, Shrivenham environs. The object of the Trust is the provision of housing accommodation for beneficiaries, who are persons in need by virtue of disability, financial hardship, sickness or old age, and are former members of the armed forces or the dependants of such persons.

The church as a charity raises money for Christian Aid, Royal British Legion (Remembrance Day), Armed Forces, Bishop's appeals (various). Missionary work via the Church and the benefice as a whole.

The Athletics Union continues to grow and attract new members by providing sporting opportunities and instruction for Armed Forces personnel.
