Arts Charities That specialise in Choirs

Three main choral concerts throughout the year. An open Come-and-Sing day once every other year.Entertainment for residents of retirement and nursing homes involving a small group from main choir. Involvement of local youth choirs in one of the main concerts. Fund raising for third-party charity organizations at one of the main concerts. Involvement in local community events when required.

The charity undertakes musical rehearsals and puts on public concerts and workshops of choral music.

Provides classical choral music performances for the public and musical training/education.

The aims of the Society are to introduce to the general public various works of a musical and dramatic nature. To include children in the productions and train them to become competent in acting, dance and singing.

CARSHALTON CHORAL SOCIETY IS A CHORAL SOCIETY ESTABLISHED IN 1947 TO PERFORM CHORAL MUSIC IN THE LOCAL AREA. MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO ALL, AND THERE IS NO AUDITION REQUIREMENT FOR ENTRY. FINANCE IS PROVIDED BY MEMBERS' SUBSCRIPTIONS AND APPLICATIONS TO LOCAL FUNDING AUTHORITIES.

A choir consisting of ladies associated with the military community in and around North Devon. The purpose of the Choir is to provide welfare support through singing and performing to its members. In addition the Choir supports local charities in their own fundraising efforts by performances and appearances when requested.

Choral Society, we give 2 concerts a year in the local Church which are well-attended by local people. We give free tickets to accompanied under-16s. We have a retiring collection at the end of each concert for a particular charity chosen by the trustees, eg the local hospice.

Exeter Chamber Choir aims to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of publicconcerts and recitals.

We support inspirational music projects which actively preserve and promote a community's cultural music heritage while also discovering and nurturing new, emerging talent. We are currently supporting a cultural music heritage project in East Africa called Singing Wells. Cardiff Ardwyn Singers/Cantorion Ardwyn Caerdydd is a mixed voice choir and its purpose is the study and practice of choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performances.

TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE ARTS INCLUDING THE ART OF MUSIC, SINGING, DRAMA, VISUAL ARTS BY THE PROMOTION OF PERFORMANCES AND WORKSHOPS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF NORTH WEST ENGLAND.

Choir of 100 performing concerts (sometimes with profits to other charities)Running workshops and training for singers.All undertaken at minimal cost to participants with reductions for young people to enable as wide a participation as possble.

Traditional choral society, with several public performances and Come and Sing Days every year in and around the Croydon area.

The Society gives choral concerts, which are open to members of the public.

Provide facilities that can be used bygroups in the local community. The main halls are available for groups for a wide range of activities which currently include a toddler group and a choir. New groups are being introduced for arts and crafts that are available to both young and old. All users of the centre are encourage to offer a range of activities within the community to provide friendship.

Study and performance of choral works by members to promote and develop public education in and appreciation of such works by means of public performance and other appropriate activities.

Promotion of choral and other music, principally through organising regular choral music concerts in the Wandsworth area of London

The Verona Association provides facilities for elderly members of the community to participate in physical and mental recreation activities including dance, singing, snooker, bowling and a friendship club. These activities take place in the association's own premises.

Cornwall Symphony Chorus exists to entertain and educate the general public by means of choral singing and live performances

The education of the public in the art of choral music through the presentation of concerts, public recitals and other such means as the Trustees shall decide.

The Charity is established to promote the public knowledge and appreciation of good choral and other music by means of public performance.
