To assist with the development and training of the St. EdmundsburyCathedral Choir

The aim of the society is to promote the development and enjoyment of choral singing in West Cumbria. The society at present has only an adult choir, though young people 15/16 years of age would be welcome.Several concerts are given each year and opportunities are taken to use professional and semi-professional singers and musicians.

For over 40 years, the New London Chamber Choir has specialised in contemporary works, performing uncompromisingly avant-garde music of all periods. The choir has a unique record of commissioning and premiering new works for mixed chorus and performs regularly at major festivals in the UK and Europe.

Village hall is used by a number of organisations and individuals as a meeting place. It is regularly used by over 40 people per week and as a venue for church functions, local School, the Womens Institute and other community organisations, local doctor's advice centre, skittles, bingo, local choir etc. Display boards provide information on local planning issues and local business.

Organise music events in order to support and stimulate music activity within Sefton and Merseyside for amateur choirs, school choirs and dementia friendly choirs. Fund, in partnership with Sefton Music Service, choral workshops in primary schools leading to celebratory concerts annually under the 'Sing for Sefton' identity. Support the weekly Memories R Made dementia friendly choir, Southport.

Performing concerts of vocal and instrumental music in local venues for the benefit/education of the general public.

To provide for the advancement of education of any individual person who is or has been a Chorister or admitted as a Singing Boy in the Choir of Canterbury Cathedral by the granting of scholarships or grants to assist any such person in undertaking any course at any school, college, university, conservatoire or training establishment in the United Kingdom or elsewhere.

Our activities include, crafts, art, singing, drama, baking and many other different subjects. We also have speakers on history, celebrities , exercise, dance and choirs. Choral Singing in Tenterden, Kent and surrounding area. We sing for charity fund-raising and other community events and rehearse at St Mildred's Church in Tenterden.

Arrow Vale Singers are a choir of mixed voices. We perform by invitation for charities and groups looking to promote charity work as well as being hired for performances and promoting our own concerts to help cover running cost.

Financial assistance to choristers or ex-choristers under the age of 25.

Assisting with the preservation, repair, maintenance, restoration, improvement and ornamentation of the fabric of the Church of St. Andrew's, Moretonhampstead. Assisting in the funding of those expenses which relate to the upkeep of the organ and choir, the building and the bells.

Parents come with their babies and toddlers twice a week. Activities include play, dressing up, story time, singing and art and craft activities.

Awards grants yearly to instrumentalists and/or singers of 25 years or under who normally live in Nottinghamshire and are in full-time education. Grants are awarded for instrument purchase, lessons, course fees, accessories, sheet music etc.

Girlguiding UK enables girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference to the world. Earley District run units locally to achieve this accomodating girls from the age of 5 to 65. A variety of activities are run including crafts, adventurous activities, singing, outdoor camping and opportunities to travel and stay away. Topics include the world, the environment.

Choral singing

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Singers through its committee shall determine from time to time and in addition to foster the enjoyment of choral singing by both performers and listeners.

The Trust's primary purpose is to support the Sir George Thalben-Ball Memorial Organ Scholarship at St Michael's Cornhill in the City of London. Other grants are given to young organists/church musicians (not singers) from any country, who are studying in the UK.

The Northavon Singers is a mixed voice (4-part) choir, performing two to three public concerts per year, in addition to a number of local events such as Christmas Carol concerts for local residential and nursing homes and ad hoc events on request. Some profits are donated to local and national charities, as and when viable. The choir has approximately 15 members.
