Educating the public in the arts and sciences, in particular the art and science of music, by the presentation of concerts and other activities

We administer, manage and facilitate our hall for community activities and meetings, including a choir and dance classes, garden club, history group, lunch club for the elderly, the Church in Oakridge, W.I. etc. The trust holds fundraising events, Film Nights, and lets the hall for educational, community functions, family parties, children's parties, annual village show, and drama productions.

Provides an opportunity and avenue for amateur singers, dancers and actors to appear on stage in front of the general public. Educates and entertains the members and friends of the society and theatre going public with musical shows from the past and present in Fareham and local area, Hampshire.

Ordsall Acappella Singers is a community choir, open to all without audition. It is based in Salford. The choir seeks to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects including the presentation of public events.

The church have the following main activities:-Sunday we have service in the church from 2:30 pm till 6 pm both Adult and Youth service. Tuesday we have Bible study from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Friday we have a prayer on zoom with all the members. Saturday we have choir training for the youth group and the adults from 5:30 to 7:00pm and everyone is welcome .

To foster an appreciation of the art and science of music by the presentation of collaborative projects. The group endeavours to offer music rarely performed due to the scale required using very large groups of singers and orchestral players. Workshops, concerts and associated activities will be offered involving a wide spectrum of choral societies.

The objects of the Society shall be to educate the public in the Arts and Sciences, and, in particular, the art and science of music, by the presentation of concerts and other activities.

THE PROMOTION OF CHORAL SINGING FOR ALL

Performing a minimum of four concerts per year of very varied choral music, working with professional/graduate student soloists and musicians to the benefit of our members and audiences

The aim of the Cylch Meithrin is to offer early years care and education, to provide a sustainable social environment and to promote healthy eating to every child under school age through the medium of Welsh. Activities: Learning activity, arts & crafts, gardening, outdoor play, story telling and singing.

The objective is to promote public appreciation of the arts and in particular to encourage public appreciation of and to educate people in the art of choral singing by the participation in and the presentation of concerts in support of local charities and similar activities.

The Village Hall is maintained for use by local groups, clubs and individual hirers, which currently include,three darts groups, three art groups, pilates, dance, two Church groups, yoga, over 60s keep fit, parish council meetings and casual lettings for various purposes. Fund raising events are also held eg Bingo, Quiz Nights, and entertainment by local singer.

Education of the general public in the art form of Acapella and Close Harmony Singing, by way of our public performances. We encourage people to join with our group in order to take part in basic music coaching and to understand the craft of singing. Members and non-members are encouraged to improve their vocal knowledge and expertise thereby instilling self confidence by mastering new skills.

The Handful is a chamber choir of c. 25 singers, which gives concerts of a cappella and accompanied choral music in the Bath area and beyond. We aspire to higher levels of choral singing by growing technically and musically and we aim to share our singing with a wide audience, providing interesting, themed programmes of music that are both entertaining and educational.

The Military WAGS Choir Catterick Garrison routinely rehearses, and performs in public.The charity's Trustees are satisfied that the choir's activities are in accordance with its stated objectives (the study and practice of choral music to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music) and pass both the 'benefit' and 'public' aspect of the Charity Commissions' guidance.

To promote, improve,develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, choral music by the presentation of public concerts and by such other ways as the Society through its Committee shall determine from time to time

Choir for the community of Sandwich and surrounding area encourages members to learn to sing. Occasionally gives concerts to support other similar charities.

The Choir of 50/60 provides an opportunity for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to enjoy singing a range of songs in harmony. No auditions are required; rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings in Wadebridge. New members would enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. We give three public concerts each year and are professionally trained.

The study, advancement,improvement development and maintenance of public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals, paticularly choral works, both classical and modern.

THE CHARITY ENCOURAGES THE PARTICIPATION AND FURTHERS THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS OF MUSIC, SPEECH AND DRAMA. THE CHARITY HOLDS A FESTIVAL COMPETITION EACH YEAR IN CLASSES COVERING CHORAL, INSTRUMENTAL, PIANO, SPEECH AND VOCAL SKILLS AND PROMOTES THE ANNUAL WOKING YOUNG MUSICIAN COMPETITION CONCERT.

Three or more performance concerts per annum. Weekly rehearsals in preparation. Three free singing workshops per annum held to promote health and social benefits of singing in a group.
