Arts Charities That specialise in Choirs

The Trust provides bursaries to the families of choristers of St Paul's Cathedral in cases of financial hardship or lack of means to defray the costs of boarding. It also provides grants to the cathedral towards the education of choristers. In addition it makes grants to the Cathedral School to assist in the costs relating to the fabric or for other projects within the foundations objectives.

To promote, maintain, improve and advance education within the community at large and particularly in the rural areas of the County of Dorset by the promotion, performance and encouragement of the Arts including the arts of drama, dance, music, singing, literature, sculpture, painting, photography and cinematography.

The charities primary activities are to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects but in particular choral music, by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals, and social functions to advance the cohesion of Peterborough Sings!.

The aim of the charity is to promote, maintain, improve and advance education by the encouragement of the arts including, without limitation, the arts of drama, mime, dance, singing and music.

St Mary-Le-More and St Leonard are churches in Wallingford, Oxon.A strong Christian community ministering to the needs of all people with mission at the heart of our worship.Regular church services are held during the week. The church is also used by groups e.g. Tiny Toes Toddlers' Group, Carers' Group and for Choir and Bell practice.The church building is available for hire.

Performance of music to general public, education project with young conductors

Drunken Chorus is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, established to:Promote, for public benefit, the advancement in, creation of & engagement in the arts: -Primarily in (not limited to) London; -Particularly in (not limited to) the fields of theatre, dance & cabaret; -Including specific provision for young people, deaf and disabled artists / audiences

The Church provides regular public worship open to all, pastoral care incl. visiting the sick & the bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons,courses & small groups, the provision of a Sunday School, Church Choir with a Christian ethos & promoting the whole mission of the Church through the provision of activities for senior citizens & parents & toddlers group. Supporting other charities.

Choir for wide range of age groups who are living with dementia

Sunday mass services, Holy Communion, Holy mass once a month on St Gabriel's day, yearly annual anniversary, baptizing children and adults, wedding Solemnization, memorial services, Befriending and counselling support for the elderly, visiting the elderly and the sick, bible Study, choir rehearsal every Saturdays, Sunday School conferences and periodically fundraising event.

"To promote and maintain to a high standard the choral services of the Church of England, the Church in Wales or the Church of Ireland (whether simple or elaborate) in such way as the trustees see fit ... including the promotion of the religious, musical and secular education of pupils attending any school in which instruction in the doctrines of ... the said Churches is given ..."

During the year we have weekly services on Sundays at 11am and on Wednesdays at 7pm. We worship God in prayer, singing & studying his word. We covered the books Galatians,Gospel of John,and 1 Samuel. Our young people enjoyed a time of games & fellowship together at a weekend retreat centre.

Worship has the greatest priority in the life of Christ Church. The closest of links are fostered with the church school. Considerable resources are put aside for a professional choir. Substantial repairs take place to conserve the fabric of the church and the PCC has designated as its main charity, the Diocese of Wiawso, a province of the Church of England in Ghana.

Scherzo is a professional development platform for emerging artists, particularly classical singers. Scherzo offers a programme of performance and training projects to a cohort of performers.

The promotion and enhancement of church music in Salisbury Cathedral

Aims & Activities.Communicating the life changing message of Jesus Christ and therefore carry out initiatives to address the needs of the socially and economically disadvantaged in the community such as a Soup Kitchen and Laundry/shower services for the homeless, a friendship cafe for the lonely, Singing & Art groups, Mental health wellbeing Forums and Widow's forum & promoting local festivals.

The Furzedown Project is an activities day centre for older people living in South West London. The Project is a community of warm, friendly over sixties who want to meet new people, keep active and learn new skills. We offer a range of activities including art classes, Asian Friendship Group, bingo, computer support, Keep Fit, singing,, summer outings, a drop-in facility and much more.

We are one of London's largest unauditioned choral societies with around 300 regular members, offering amateur voices an opportunity to sing a variety of choral works under professional guidance. We welcome anyone who is interested in learning about singing classical choral music, participating in our community and performing with us at concerts in major venues and with professional musicians.

This charity runs a village hall and a number of its associated activities, as well as letting out its premises to other interest groups. It facilitates community participation by also running a village festival every other year, and has some sectional organisations, panto, choir, drama, short mat bowls, and a small musical production group, as well as computer classes and a community cinema.
