Arts Charities That specialise in Choirs

Perform in concerts to raise money for charity and other good causes.

The objects of the society shall be to educate the public in the Arts and Sciences, and in particular the Art and Science of Music, in the promotion of concerts and other activities.

Support of the activities of the Derby Bach Choir and other musical activities in the Derby and East Midlands area.

We take part in concerts, where all proceeds are for charity. At christmas time we visit hospitals locally, and also the main hospital in the area, Nevil Hall, Abergavenny. We visit all the wards as possible.

The prime objective of the choir is to promote the enjoyment of the Welsh choral tradition through its rehearsals and performances. This involves skills development and enjoyment of singing for members and entertainment for the wider community. In addition, the choir raises money for agreed charities.

Creating a choir from the local community to perform concerts of a high musical standard in local halls and churches supported by orchestras and instrumentalists.

Developing the skills of choral music and presenting concerts for the financial benefit of charitable and community groups. Performances are mostly , but not exclusively, within the City of York and North Yorkshire

MUSIC, THROUGH ACTIVITIES OF OUR CHAMBER CHOIR

We perform up to four major choral concerts a year, in Sheffield Cathedral and other venues. Member of Making Music. Currently around 85 singing members. We hold voice training workshops to improve the quality of our singing, and are exploring new ways to extend the range of our membership and reach new audiences.

Highfield Hall Community Centre - this is a community resource for leisure and educational pursuits, with group usage for art circle, karate, community events and gatherings for Table Tennis club, drama and choral groups, and childcare provision. ACS presents 3-4 concerts a year at prestigious Manchester venues and local churches. Our members are amateur singers who have the opportunity to perform choral works across a wide repertoire with professional orchestras and soloists. We also hold introductory singing events for the general public. We provide enjoyable, musical learning experiences for members, audience, and the public.

We are a non auditioning choir based in Loughton.We normally present three choral concerts per year with orchestral.Occasional choral and voice training workshops are held.

Lloyds' Choir is a choral society that principally serves the insurance sector of the financial community of the City of London. It does, however, welcome members from other walks of life. The Choir provides musical education and singing training for its members; performs three to four concerts a year; and also provides singers for City church services.
