Arts Charities That specialise in Festival

The principal objectives of the charity as set out in the Declaration of Trust are the advancement of the Christian faith worldwide and the relief of poverty.This was achieved by making donations to RCCG Head Quarters for the World wide Evangelicalmission and Festival Of Life. Donations were also made to support other charities and christian events.

Various fund raising activities in the local community, conducted community and religious activities covering Greenwich and surrounding borough throughout the year. Dasain festival, Teej festival and other similar festival are celebrated on a regular basis.

We work with young people of African and afro-Caribbean heritage through workshops directed by professional carnival artists. The majority of the children have low self-esteem and under-achieve at school. They find it difficult to socialise with others and integrate into mainstream society and their poor self-esteem is often linked to their racial and social background.

St. Mary the Virgin Church is the Anglican church serving the town of Petworth. As well as a range of weekly and seasonal services, it provides baptisms, marriages, and funerals for the community. It is open for private prayer. It hosts civic services such as Remembrance Sunday, and other special events and memorials. Its premises host the annual Petworth Festival and Literature Festival.

The charity raises money for Wolfson Hillel Primary School.The charity helps organise and fund various school events including events to celebrate the school's religious festivals and sporting activities.The charity organises various social events for the school community.

Volunteers and refugees are able to request funding for clothes, equipment and activities. We provide a range of support including individual English lessons, conversations classes, monthly social gatherings and weekly football sessions. Brecon Festival Ballet advances the performing arts in Brecon and neighbouring places by developing and performing dance and ballet at the highest levels and making these accessible to new and existing audiences. We provide opportunities for the education, training, instruction and development of dance and ballet performers.

The activity of the charity is to advance the Islamic faith in Enfield and surrounding areas for the benefit of the public in particular but not exclusively through the holding of prayer meetings, services of worship, religious instruction, lectures and public celebration of religious festivals in accordance with the tenets, philosophy, ideology and traditions of Islam;

In line with its educational objectives, the company organises the annual Wells Festival of Literature at which leading writers give inspirational, challenging lectures to audiences of all ages and tastes.
