THE INTERNATIONAL THEATRE EXCHANGE (ITE) is an umbrella organisation. It facilitates the exchange of information, knowledge and experience on international amateur theatre, international amateur theatre festivals and events relating to international amateur theatre between members and any amateur theatre organisation in England Scotland and Wales that seeks advice.

The Society, under its Constitution, promtes, improves, develops and maintains public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Society through its Committee shall determine from time to time.

MAKES GRANTS TO YOUNG MUSICIANS IN THE FORM OF GIVING A PUBLIC RECITAL AT THE HARROGATE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL TO WIDEN THEIR EXPERIENCE AND TO BRING THEM BEFORE A WIDER AUDIENCE TO ENHANCE THEIR CAREERS.

THEATRE

To provide a competitive and public platform for amateurs of all ages to perform the Arts: music, speech and drama with the educational benefit of encouragement and guidance from internationally recognised and qualified specialist adjudicators.

The aim of Fleetwood Music & Arts Festival is to provide a platform for amateur performers in speech, music and drama. These performances are adjudicated by professionals in their field in a supportive and encouraging manner. We are affiliated to the International and British Federation of Festivals.

The provision of radio communications in cases of civil emergency and to assist statutory and voluntary emergency bodies i.e., St. John Ambulance, Red Cross, etc. As part of our training, we provide communications to organisers of sporting and community activities, such as cross-country equestrian events, marathons, carnival parades, etc.

To give awards to deserving students to commence studies in college

Local fund raising such as Open Gardens, flower festivals, lunches etc to raise money to assist with the repair/maintenance of St Andrews Church, Wickham Skeith, Suffolk.

We discuss issues of relevence to the area, particularly community relations. We arrange house groups. We support Christian Aid. We organise worship and study. We hold prayer breakfasts. We organise a Festival Cafe. We give grants.

education of the public in Welsh culture by holding from time to time an Eisteddfod in the village of Talwrn or elsewhere,by the holding of concerts,meetings and otherf unctions in the interest of the Eisteddfod

Supplying items of equipment for residents of the hospital who require more specialist items/ to improve their stay e.g. Special Beds, Chairs, Televisions, Electric fans, Telephones, Christmas presents. Gardening services (planting, maintenance etc)Providing a Trolley shop service to the residents three times a week.Raising funds by public activities (Ploughman's Lunches, Carnival stall)

Production of the York Cycle of Mystery Plays in the waggon play tradition using a four yearly cycle. Arranging conferences to increase the knowledge of the mystery plays in this form.
