Our overseas activities include shipment of barrels to the Caribbean Islands and Ethiopia at the request of their community leaders, filled with clothing and books. The Television Workshop promotes, enhances, develops and maintains the education of young people, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, in relation to performing arts and media. The objects are achieved by the provision of workshops in film and television, theatre and drama skills and the preparation and the presentation of theatre performances by children and young people.

Saffron Screen is an independent community cinema screening a wide range of films and seeking through film to entertain, educate, create a shared experience and improve the quality of life for everyone in Saffron Walden and the surrounding area.

The Friends of French Institute aims to support the educational and cultural activities of the French Institute, such as showing French and European films, plays, lectures and concerts of classical music, and promoting contemporary music. The French Institute exists to promote French language and culture, but also to encourage cross-cultural exchanges.

The charity manages and operates St George's Theatre, housed in a Grade I listed former chapel, together with the neighbouring Pavilion cafe bar and outside performance area, to provide a balanced and broad range of cultural activities including theatre, cinema, performing arts, comedy, and music for the whole community.

Freewheelers, based in Leatherhead, enables people with and without disabilities to produce and participate in high-quality original theatre, film and dance, challenging barriers and perceptions. Our students perform in live shows, and their films are shown widely. We won two Inspire Marks in the 2012 Cultural Olympics. In 2015 our film "Steep Rain" was shown at the UN Enable Film Festival.

Presentation of live amateur theatre and other arts activities at Ilkley Playhouse within the local community of Ilkley, West Yorkshire. The Playhouse also hosts community arts events such as the Ilkley Film Society and Ilkley Literature Festival.Drama classes for young people, from 8 to 17 year olds are held on Saturday mornings from September to July.
