Raising money through summer and Christmas fairs, raffles, school discos, film nights, quizzes etc. Money raised has gone towards new equipment, a Patch to Plate Project and the annual Christmas pantomime among other school related things.

The Charity's purpose is to own and manage Warmington Village Hall in Trust on behalf of and for the benefit the community of Warmington and its surrounds . The educating of the public by the support and assistance of the The Wilson, Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum ("the Gallery").Making loans or gifts of money to the Gallery, and in purchasing or acquiring or contributing to the purchase or acquisition of pictures, sculptures, works of art, costume, photographs, books and other works of artistic historical scientific or general public interest.

To provide care, support, education and facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for adults with learning disabilities and/or special educational needs within the locality of Llanelli and District, with the object of improving their conditions of life. members are provided with a cooked tea, also provided a cinema club and various trips during the year plus theatre trips.

The physical and mental recreation and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes and recreations and entertainments or otherwise as may be found to be of benefit to the inhabitants of Froxfield and its immediate vicinity.

The advancement of the christian faith through publications, support for translations and free distribution of literature. Publication of christian magazine "Youthful Days".

One Fund provides grants for educational purposes to people under 25 years old and a second provides grants to people in financial hardship. These are restricted to inhabitants of the civil parish of Sedbergh. A third owns a building rented by Cumbria CC as a library,the income can be used to give grants for charitable purposes in Sedbergh and its neighbourhood. A fourth fund owns an almshouse.

The memorial hall is used by the following - Classes for Yoga; Fitness and Wellbeing; Boxing/kickboxing. Tennis coaching; Football Club; Cyclecross; Celebration/birthday parties;Weddings; Warm spaces; Residents meetings; Baby and Toddler Group; Community Council Meetings; Voting; Film company; County Council Housing Association; Bouncy Castle Company; Xmas/Tabletop Fairs; Fund raising concerts.

To further the understanding of the role and history of the Royal Air Force in peace and war through publications, seminars and educational and charitable grants.

As a village hall charity we make available the building and its facilities (kitchen, snooker, changing rooms, stage, toilets etc) to local organisations (eg W.I, dance, exercise, toy library, art group, summer students) and to the general public for private events. We organise public events from time to time, eg skittle evenings, quiz evenings, coffee mornings, concerts, shows, markets

The charity offers its members, through the payment of a small subscription, the opportunity to enjoy the facilities of the hall and in particular the quiet enjoyment of the snooker tables and library.

We organise fundraising activities in order to benefit the learning opportunities of the pupils of Mosborough Primary School. This year we have funded the purchase of a new new playground equipment, books for foundation new starters, equipment for the Science Curriculum and subsidised a number of educational visits for different year groups.

Attending consultation meetings and public hearings where appropriate.Presenting slide shows to interested parties.Arranging visits to places of historical and/or environmental interest.Publishing a quarterly journal "City and County"Campaigning as deemed necessary to protect landscape and heritage

Expenditure is used to assist school libraries and to fund extended hours at the Ascot Durning Library. Additional library hours funded at ?20,000 per annum.

The Society initiates and supports Village projects relating to Heritage, Environment and Community. It also comments on planning issues, publishes books of local interest, holds 11 meetings each year for education or entertainment & publishes monthly newsletters. It awards grants for projects that will benefit the Village and presents Civic Pride Awards each year to individuals and groups.

Fundraising activities such as Disco's, Summer Fair, Christmas Bazaar, Christmas Cards, Easter Fair, and fashion show. Items are bought for the school with the funds raised such as Books, Playground Developments, Classroom Resources, and Visualisers.

Assists and trains christian preachers of all denominations by running courses and publishing a journal.

Community Hall available for hire for education activites, Parties, entertainment functions, showing of films & plays and anything else that is decent and legal.
