The principal activities of the educational charitable trust are to maintain Gilbert White's House & Garden in Selborne, with associated Field Studies Centre, as a visitor attraction & Accredited museum. The Cranston Library is one of the glories of Reigate's heritage. The trustees conserve the books, maintain routine security and purchase insurance. The main fund-raising event is the annual Cranston Lecture. Free access is arranged for scholarly research and visits from the public. The library participates in the annual Heritage Open Day and other visits are made by arrangement with the trustees.

Provision of fortnightly extracts from local newspapers and media to registered blind and partially sighted recipients of our recordings in the North Dorset and South Wiltshire areas, edited and produced by volunteers.

The Perins Educational Foundation is a trust fund set up in 1961 to give financial support to ex-pupils of Perins School, who are either going on to further education or entering into apprenticeships. Grants may be given to help buy tools, books or equipment, or help fund various voluntary service schemes.

Relief of poverty and special needs to the Parishioners of Salhouse, Norfolk by making individual grants where needs have been identified by Clergy, Parish Councillors and Charity Secretary. Grants are unconditional and historically have included hospital transport, furniture, student study books and utility bills.

CHBA provides 24/7 radio broadcasting for St Richard's Hospital in Chichester.

PROVIDING RELIEF TO THOSE IN SICKNESS, INFIRMITY OR OLD AGE AMONG PERSONS LIVING IN STAFFORDSHIRE WHO ARE NOT SERVED BY ANY OTHER HOSPITAL RADIO ORGANISATION, BY PROVIDING A LOCAL BROADCASTING SERVICE FOR HOSPITALS, HOSPICES, RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES AND SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS

We help members of the 'league', aid their families, dependents and colleagues with small financial gifts where necessary, required and applied for. We produce an annual journal and have an AGM requesting for updated information on colleagues/members and their families who may be in need of our assistance. Membership currently 397.

Production and distribution of approximately 200 memory sticks containing local news each week to the blind and partially sighted in the Tendring area.

KADRAS operate as a society in the village of Kelsall in Cheshire.Main activities are publishing a village magazine every 2 months and other publications include recently a village walks leaflet+village directory.Provide theatre entertainment, arrange walks, village hanging baskets, litter picking,bursary for young people, make grants to other village societies.

The W.O.A. commemorates the life and work of Wilfred Owen, poet. It maintains memorials and plaques, promotes educational conferences, visits, tours, bursaries and concerts. It publishes a twice-yearly journal and awards a biennial W.O. poetry prize. It runs a website, answers student requests and has close links with its sister organisation, the Siegfried Sassoon Fellowship.
