The integral Archives relating to the social and historical life of the Islanders are available for study and research by the Holy Island Community Archive Group. The Charity provides financial assistance to young persons leaving school who make application to the Charity and who are going on to further education (i.e. University or Polytechnic) and who live within the Ancient Chapelry of Heptonstall. The award to assist them in purchase of books for their studies.

We produce an audio version of our local weekly newspaper, The Wallingford Herald, and other community magazines. Volunteers meet each week to read articles onto digital media which are distributed the next day to up to 40 people with visual or reading difficulties. Each registered listener is provided by the charity with an audio player to listen the recorded news.

Beresford Book Trust supports Ashwell Primary School, in providing a book for every child leaving at the end of Year 6.
