The Anne Fisher Charity gives modest grants (average -£30) to students who are studying at university to purchase books relevant to their course/degree. It also makes small donations to the needy and elderly who are over 75 years of age. All applicants must be residents of Thurlby or Northorpe, Lincolnshire.

Purposes of assisting the managers or governors of any voluntary school attended by children resident in the beneficial area. Provision of financial assistance, outfits, clothing, tools instruments or books to assist young persons to enter a profession, trade or calling. Otherwise promoting the education of young persons or children resident in the beneficial area.

The Charity is bound by the scheme whereby one-tenth of the net income is provided to the Vicar of Cirencester by way of a contribution for acquisition of books and periodicals required by him in undertaking his religious work and the remaining nine-tenths is applied at the trustees' discretion to eligible persons under the age of 25 years who were born or resident in the vicinity of Cirencester.

THE TRUST SUPPORTS PERFORMING ARTS THROUGH LIVE DRAMA, FILM AND BROADCAST MEDIA TO ENHANCE AND ENRICH THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS, WORKING WITH FUNDING PARTNERS TO FURTHER ITS AIMS.

Centred around the village church of St James, Biddenham. The Charity has in the past provided funding for the provision of new hymn books, items for use in the eucharist, maintenance of the church bells, organ and decoration of the interior of the Church.
