Arts Charities That specialise in Music

We offer lifelong learning skills to adults with disabilities including registered blind and partially sighted. These skills are aimed at increasing independence whilst encouraging social interaction and self-confidence in a friendly and informal environment. We offer courses in Computing, Cookery, Literacy, Arts & Crafts, Drama, Music Therapy and seated Yoga.

ACS presents 3-4 concerts a year at prestigious Manchester venues and local churches. Our members are amateur singers who have the opportunity to perform choral works across a wide repertoire with professional orchestras and soloists. We also hold introductory singing events for the general public. We provide enjoyable, musical learning experiences for members, audience, and the public.

The objects of the Rachel Podger Foundation are to advance the education, appreciation, and knowledge of the public in the art of classical music, through the promotion of classical music and live performance in general ,and principally, but not exclusively, music of the Baroque era, for the public benefit in the UK and other countries around the world.

Community choir performing major choral works to a high standard and running singing workshops. Membership of approx 90 singers is drawn from a wide geographical area covering Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire. Main concert venues are Saffron Hall and St Mary's Church, Saffron Walden. The choir has close links with local schools, regularly sharing concerts.

Teaching Scottish Country Dancing to adults and children through weekly classes;organising Day Schools and Weekend Schools to further this aim. Encouraging social contact, fun and fitness through dance with regular social dances with live music, and an annual outdoor Scottish Country Dance festival, the White Rose Festival.

To promote the appreciation, enjoyment, participation and understanding of music and the arts for the public benefit, through the provision of musical events and educational activities, particularly but not exclusively in central Devon as part of an annual Arts Festival and at other times of the year

Weekly webcasts & lectures on Sufism, Koran classes & book reading, Tamarkoz (Meditation) classes, translation classes, Farsi classes, ceremonies & other events, interfaith activities, musical performances, arts and crafts and tuition on traditional Iranian instruments

The object of the Society shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of choral and instrumental music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts; and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the Committee may from time to time decide

The objects of the Society are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education by the encouragement of the arts including the arts of drama, mime, dance, singing and music and to provide facilities for practical participation in the production and performance of stage plays and other activities of a similar kind.

TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE DRAMATIC AND OPERATIC ARTS AND TO DEVELOP THE PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND TASTE IN THE SAID ARTS TO FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES UNDER THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE GUIDANCE ON PUBLIC BENEFIT .THE MAIN ACTIVITIES COMPRISE THE PERFORMANCE OF TWO SHOWS EACH YEAR - CONCERT FORMAT AND FULL MUSICAL.

The Charity supports the education and training of pupils at the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for the students, in addition to the statutory requirement. Examples of this are the provision of music facilities, sporting entries and fixture costs, intercultural events, student planners, memberships and subscriptions, and classroom books and equipment.

We produce a major musical show and a major pantomime in a 300-seat theatre in Urmston each year. We produce a junior musical show in a local school studio in Urmston each year.

Emmanuel has a responsibility for all the people who live in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Wylde Green.We have a strong children and youth element seen in our choirs and many other activities geared towards the younger members of the Parish and Church. Music is a strong suit for Emmanuel. Our Church Hall offers a range of activities provided by community organisations.

Youth Theatre activiteis, offering young people between the ages of 5 to 21 the opportunity to express themselves through drama and music

Chivers Trust supports projects which provide live musical, theatrical or visual arts experiences to young people living in Norfolk and Suffolk.Priority is given to funding projects which target the most disadvantaged groups, and work to reach new audiences, especially groups who may not otherwise have access to the arts.

The provision of a community facility for the residents of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe, for music, drama, lectures and meetings of various societies as required.

To foster and promote the education of the general public in the appreciation of music in all its aspects and to co-operate with local authorities, educational institutions and cultural societies relating to the practice, presentation and study of music, in order, inter alia, to promote better and more widespread performance of Male Choral work, both within the United Kingdom and Worldwide

Amateur theatre company promoting music, drama and related activities for adults and young people

FAYAP operates the following clubs, groups and sessions: Friday Night Youth, Lunch, Art, Music, Drama, After-School Drop-In, LGBTQIA, Outreach and Mentoring. We rent our facilities to other community groups and have the support of the local police and Town Council. We aim to help the wider community by reducing the anti-social activities arising from young people hanging around with nothing to do

THE TRUST'S MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE EACH YEAR FOUR COURSES FOR ADVANCED STUDENTS IN THE PERFORMANCE OF CHAMBER MUSIC. THE PARTICIPANTS WILL NORMALLY BE AT POST-GRADUATE LEVEL AND PLANNING TO MAKE CHAMBER MUSIC THEIR CAREER OR A PART OF THEIR CAREER. THE COURSES ARE RESIDENTIAL AND LAST ELEVEN DAYS EACH, AND ARE HELD IN SURREY. EACH COURSE CULMINATES IN THREE PUBLIC CONCERTS.

Membership is restricted to a radius of 5 miles of the centre of Bovey Tracey.Activivities include, members coffee mornings, Art and Craft sessions, Pitch & Putt, Carpet Bowls, Darts, Table Tennis, Whist, Bridge, Chess, Keep fit, Walking Group, Petanque, Computer training, Jazz and Classical music meetings.

For the advancement of education in classical music by the provision of grants or bursaries toward the cost of public professional performances, training or education in music, the development, upkeep and maintenance of venues providing such performances in Exeter and it's surrounding districts
