PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING LIVE MUSIC IN THE COMMUNITY; BRINGING TOGETHER ALL WHO ENJOY SINGING IN A LIVELY AND SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE. RAISING STANDARDS OF PRESENTATION AND PROMOTION THROUGH INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING AND EXCELLENCE IN PERFORMANCE. HELPING MEMBERS TO ACQUIRE AND DEVELOP THE NECESSARY SKILLS TO ACHIEVE THE REALISATION OF THEIR FULL MUSICAL POTENTIAL.

Provision of musical entertainment

Sound Sense promotes the value of community music and helps community musicians to develop their professional practice. We have an important role to play in helping to increase participation in music-making among disadvantaged and minority groups. And by supporting the sector we develop the creative economy.

The objects of the Durham Music Trust CIO are: To advance the education of the public, with a focus on children and young people, in the art and science of music in particular but not exclusively in County Durham and Darlington by raising capital and revenue funds to: 1. The Waterloo and Crosby Theatre Company welcomes members of all ages (from 6-80 years old) and all abilities. During the year we produce a musical or a play, in addition to an annual family pantomime and a Christmas concert. We also have a large youth membership. In addition to performance skills and opportunities, we also provide valuable social opportunities for members of the community.

Provision of live orchestral concerts to children

LWMS exists to promote musical theatre for all in the local community in and around Royal Leamington Spa and Warwick. We encourage, educate and develop members in the art of drama, music, and dance, as well as in backstage and creative disciplines. We enable people, through open audition, to produce, rehearse and perform in musicals on the public stage.

Presentation of public concerts and recitals.

The hall provides facilities for use by: a Stay and Play playgroup, Young Explorers, Holbeton Primary School, the parish council, senior citizens lunch & social club, Holbeton drama group, aerobics, yoga, garden society, twinning association, film club,guitar lessons, private parties and is also used as a polling station. Our licence allows us to show films for public viewing.

Watford Philharmonic Society promotes the art of music by the study and public performance of choral and orchestral works of the highest quality. The society's membership, comprising both choral and orchestral members, totals approx 170 persons. In a typical season it promotes four major choral and orchestral concerts at the Bushey Academy Great Hall.

The Voice Project is a contemporary vocal music education and performance project, based in Norwich. It specialises in creating large scale, open access community projects, innovative music festivals and events. It also has a programme of professional research, development and performance activities involving leading vocal performers, composers, improvisers and instrumentalists.

To advance public education in, and appreciation of British and Multicultural Folk Arts (including traditional and contemporary folk music, dance, crafts and spoken word such as poetry and storytelling) in Chester and surrounding area through the staging of an annual folk festival and the provision of a range of participatory workshops, activities and other events throughout the year.

The purpose of APF is to offer quality French education to children (3 to 12 years old) residing in London (South-West area) by providing a bespoke academic French program alongside a wide range of cultural and creative activities. Children will be introduced to French literature, the music and flavours of France by native speaking teachers.

Community-based Flexible Learning Programme; English with Life in the UK, Food Safety & Hygiene, Video Editing, Music & Writing, Computer & Employment Training with placement, Job Search for the local community open to all age. Publication of Dual Language Magazine, Cultural & Educational Activities, Oral History of Bangladeshi in Greater Manchester produced 50 videos and published a history book.

The Charity's objects are to educate the public in the art of music in all its aspects by the presentation of professional public concerts, talks, workshops and masterclasses. Concerts in the West also aims to support young, highly trained, professional musicians early in their careers. Eight to ten mini-tours are organised each year for musicians to perform in venues in the West Country.
