Arts Charities That specialise in Music

Our aim is to create an inclusive environment for all children through music. From our work in the community, we provide practical and financial support for music projects which raise aspirations and enable young people to fulfil thier potential. We develop strategic partnerships, and work closely with our supporters, to develop the case for continued investment in music education.

Presentation of Musical Shows

Cricklade Town Hall offers good-sized, flexible facilities comprising a Main Hall and an Annex. These can be hired separately or together. Both are self contained with their own facitites such as kitchen and toilets. The Main Hall has a large raised stage; ideal for concerts etc.

Ronnie Scott's Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of jazz education in the United Kingdom, and beyond. To advance such charitable purposes as the trustees see fit from time to time in particular, but not limited to, raising and distributing funds and gifting musical instruments to organisations and individuals that create or develop youth jazz programmes.

Epsom Choral Society provides the opportunity for people of all ages to practice and learn the art of choral singing. As such they rehearse weekly, and give 4 concerts a year attracting a wide range of audience, who are interested in broadening their knowledge and understanding of choral music. The Society also works with other local charities to support their fund raising by singing in public.

Chesterfield Operatic Society (COS) is one of the oldest amateur musical theatre companies in the country, being first established in 1905. Through the presentation of public events and the performance of shows we aim to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the dramatic and operatic arts in chesterfield and the surrounding area.

Continue to operate three brass bands. These are all very active in providing concerts and music to the general public. The Junior band continues to attract young players and train them.

From the income of the Trust Fund to support:The training of members and prospective members of a choir for All Saints Parish Church and the advancement of their musical education.The performance of church music by the organist and choir of All Saints Church.To encourage the appreciation and study of Church Music in Saint Marylebone.

The promotion of community music and the provision of rehearsal space for local music groups

Music In Mind CIO provides educational and community projects and performances to promote health and well being through music and the arts. The projects are designed to promote the benefits of music and the arts to all ages and range from inspiring civic pride and identity amongst disaffected communities to raising public awareness around dementia.

We are a male voice choir from Cornwall who give regular concerts in the Cornwall & Devon area. To raise funds for the running of the choir but primarily to raise funds to support a number of charities both locally and nationally.

WE ARE AN AMATEUR CHORAL SOCIETY PERFORMING MUSIC FROM THE CLASSICAL REPERTOIRE, USING PROFESSIONAL SOLOISTS, CONDUCTOR AND ORCHESTRA

Provide information, advice, guidance in immigration, health, housing, benefit advice, education, training and support to young people, families and children mainly from deprived backgrounds living in poverty. We offer a number of educational, cultural and sports activities such as dance, IT, music, drama, ESOL, football, healthy eating cooking classes, sewing, self-defence, domestic violence etc.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.To further such charitable purposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit but in particular through the making of grants and donations.

THE COMPANY PROMOTES AND PRESENTS PUBLIC PERFORMANCES OF OPERA, OPERETTA AND MUSICAL THEATRE. IT PARTICULARLY AIMS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SINGERS, DESIGNERS, DIRECTORS AND MUSICIANS TO DEMONSTRATE AND DEVELOP THEIR TALENTS AT AN EARLY STAGE IN THEIR CAREERS, AND ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT OF KEEN AMATEUR SINGERS.

HEARTBEAT CHORUS IS A LADIES' A CAPPELLA CHORUS SPECIALISING IN LADIES' BARBERSHOP STYLE SINGING. WE AIM TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF A CAPPELLA SINGING IN ALL ITS ASPECTS. WE SING A WIDE RANGE OF MUSIC, MAINLY UNACCOMPANIED BUT ON OCCASIONS WITH ACCOMPANIMENT.

The Foundation provides scholarships, bursaries, maintenance and overseas travel grants and other financial assistance to beneficiaries up to the age of 25 to facilitate their educational, recreational, social and physical development; to enable the study of music and other arts and deliver special benefits to the School not normally provided by the Local Education Authority.

Promotion of musical education

Parson Cross Initiative Projects is based in North East Sheffield. We create community and provide support for people living in our local area. We work in partnership with other organisations to provide services and support to people and to promote social justice and inclusion. We provide a range of activities: Community Cooking, Social Cafe, art and music groups and food support.

Raise Your Voice is a music project for vulnerable people living with dementia and their carers, based in the area around Lewes, East Sussex. Each session is run by two professional musicians, (singer and pianist). They are supported by a team of volunteers with a wealth of experience of working with vulnerable adults in social care, as well as in the legal profession.

We offer opportunities for people to experience live music and a nightclub experience. We also produce a festival in a local park, inclusive to all, with no age limitations. This allows families, children, carers and service users to celebrate music and all that the Roadrunner has to offer together.

Concerts were held during the accounting period in both 2018 and 2019 in the Summer and at Christmas. Summer and Christmas concerts helped raise funds for CLIC Sargent.
