The trustees support a wide variety of UK charitable causes, with a focus on musical education and development and work with young people generally.However, the Trustees regret that they are unable to accept any unsolicited postal applications.

To advance the education of the public in the Galician language, heritage, culture and the arts, including but not exclusively through the provision of music, dance, public performances, lectures and other such events and activities as the trustees see fit from time to time.

Promoting the art of the musical or operetta

The Burford Singers is a choir of amateur local singers. The choir presents three concerts a year of mainly choral works in Burford. The choir actively encourages young people to participate by waiving subscriptions for students and uses the local children's choir whenever possible. The performances are mainly accompanied by an orchestra drawn from local players.

Harlow Chorus provides participants (young and old) with a creative, enjoyable and fulfilling educational activity, through training in both vocal techniques and musical repertoire. For audiences, we present exciting, innovative and high quality performances which should always be a pleasurable cultural experience, but will sometimes challenge and educate them by extending their musical knowledge.

The promotion of high quality chamber music concerts performed by professional artists and available to all members of the public. Some concerts have an educational start or are designed for the elderly or people with learning disabilities.

To give pleasure, promote, educate, train and spread the appreciation of music through choral singing.To support and donate to other charities.

Artists' project earth aims to help create a better world by bringing the power of music and the arts to 21st century challenges. It supports effective projects and awareness raising initiatives to combat climate change and raises funds for natural disaster relief.

Hope Baptist Church is a working church in the centre of Hebden Bridge. In addition to traditional church activities such as Sunday worship, we offer wellbeing activities and a safe space for people to explore issues of spirituality. Our large building provides a home for a number of community groups and the chapel is a venue for music and spoken word events.

The objects of the charity are fulfilled primarily by the organisation of an annual chamber music festival with concerts open to the public and associated activities including a free outreach project delivered to local schools.

Display of paintings and other works of art, changed on an monthly basis, the centre is open to the public Tuesday, Thursday (10am - 4pm) and Saturday mornings. The Arts Society premises are used for Local Authority classes in Painting and are used by the various member groups (Painting, Dancing, Choral, Music, Patchwork etc.) to carry out their activities.

We organise and run African music, dance,story and drumming workshops in UKWe run schools in UgandaWe are providing Education to the needy children in villages in Uganda.We also provide accomodation to those children.Build Dorms,buy beds and beddings We also provide feeding facilities and water to those children We conduct choir tours to the UK to fundrise for the charity

DECIBELS HAS ESTABLISHED A LEARNING UNIT ON A UNIVERSITY CAMPUS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF SOUND,MUSIC,THE ARTS,PERFORMANCE AND TECHNOLOGY.THE LATEST RESEARCH ICT (INFORMATION & COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY) MODULES ARE "VISUAL MUSIC" AND "RHYTHM OF SILENCE" AND THEY ARE BEING USED BY DEAFAX,TEACHERS,PARENTS,STUDENTS,AND WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH A VARIETY OF DISABILITIES.

The charity aims to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in the appreciation of the art and science of music, in all its aspects.

The Centre provides activities for young people aged 10-19. The programme includes media & music, arts, crafts & dance workshops, sports activities, holiday programmes, residentials and open access sessions. For those involved in/likely to be involved in, antisocial/criminal behaviour the Centre provides alternative challenges. The Centre is a community resource which can be hired for events.

Gael Music supports children who, because of their circumstances cannot access wider music making opportunities in their local area

Inner Voices is an inner London based chamber choir that offers a first class musical education to students in inner London state schools.

The object of the charity is to promote the education of the public in the study, practice, knowledge and appreciation of music, more particularly the music of William Alwyn, by encouraging, promoting and assisting in the publication, performance and recording of the music of William Alwyn.

Classical chamber ensemble - performance and education: education of the public in the subject of music and related art forms. Develop skills through creative, team-based workshops. To advance in life and help young people through the provision of music and creatively-based activities which develop their skills, confidence, awareness and ability to contribute to the wider society.

Preference for Cheltenham and Gloucestershire. Grants to individuals/projects where we can make a significant contribution. Donations for musical instrument purchase for music students (18), but not tuition fees/living expenses.Other exclusions: gap year trips, large charities, animal charities, foreign charities, major building projects.Please note: Our funding is fully committed at present

The provision of facilities for the community of the village and surrounding areas. Facilities offer educational events from pre-school to the elderly. E.G. slimming, fitness, karate, badminton, football, dance, crafts, WI, AA, music, wellness, floristry, weddings, and parties. Also used for local Parish Council meetings, conferences and public charity events. Facilities disabled/baby friendly.
