Arts Charities That specialise in Music

Music at Stow advances, improves and maintains public education and appreciation of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees shall think fit and in particular by staging an annual music festival in Stow-on-the-Wold, providing public concerts and recitals, educational activities and the musical events designed to encourage the appreciation of music among all age groups.

An amateur group staging a summer musical, winter pantomime, and concerts. We run workshops for adults and children, plus a youth group producing two shows a year. We aim to make the arts accessible to all, encouraging creativity, confidence, and community through inclusive, affordable theatre and performance opportunities.

Dryburn Theatrical Workshop is an enthusiastic amateur theatre group, based in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, which has been performing for over 45 years. We perform a pantomime in January, a musical in June and a play in September. We have over 70 members, aged 11 and upwards. As a group, we bring together an eclectic mix of talented local people, keen to learn and entertain.

We operate in the All Saints Church, Belgrave at Kerrysdale Avenue, Leicester, LE4 7GH. We offer free coaching and music classes. We organise free coffee mornings and offer a warm and welcome space to one and all. We also run a food pantry where we address the issue of food poverty and a warm bank for people suffering from fuel poverty.

Promote the performance of Welsh Male Voice Choir music.

To promote, improve and advance education in, and appreciation of, the arts, in particular but not exclusively through the staging of an annual folk arts festival in Hastings including performance and promotion of English traditional dance forms (including Morris dancing and Jack-in-the-Green parade), traditional English folk music and song, folk tales, and their associated seasonal customs.

Production of operatic performances for the public both on stage and in concert form.

We are a Musical Theatre group operating out of Bournville, Birmingham, open to all age ranges from students upwards and working with Children where the show requires. We have an annual show as well as a number of concerts around the Birmingham area.We also perform local mini-concerts (retirement homes, local pubs, churches etc) and support the community with carol singing at local events.

Thornbury Area youth Music provide group music making opportunities for the young people of Thornbury and surrounding areas.

To advance, promote and encourage generally and by means of The Mrs Sunderland Music Festival in particular, the education of the public in the arts of music, dance, speach, litrature and drama in all their branches and to stimulate public interest in these arts.

TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE DRAMATIC AND OPERATIC ARTS AND TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND TASTE IN THE SAID ARTS. THE COMPANY PRESENTS DRAMATIC PERFORMANCES IN WORTHING

Variety of events throughout the year, i.e. Spring Fair, Demonstration Evenings, Short Mat Bowls, Scarecrow Weekend, Music events

The Newcastle Bach Choir holds 3 or 4 public concerts annually, one of which is always features the works of JS Bach. It also aims to perform works by twentieth century British composers on a regular basis. In addition, the choir engages in activities (workshops, outreach, partnerships with other choirs) to further its musical objectives.

Choral training and concert presentations

Taking care of the fabric and running a small Village Hall, providing space for local groups e.g. Bridge, Martial Arts, Yoga, WI; Civic Society.In addition, the Hall is used by (a) Music groups providing evening entertainment (b) Birthday parties (c) Wakes (d) Wedding receptions etc.

THE STUDY AND PRACTICE OF CHORAL MUSIC IN ORDER TO FOSTER THE PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF SUCH MUSIC BY MEANS OF PUBLIC PERFORMANCE. WITH REGARD TO THE LATTER, AT LEAST 3 CONCERTS PER ANNUM ARE GIVEN.

To provide an opportunity for the people of North Hertfordshire and surrounding areas to participate in choral singing.To perform choral concerts at reasonable prices for the people of North Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

Singing in concerts to help organisations raise money for their charity and singing to the general public.

To advance the education of the public in the appreciation of band music and in particular the education and training of people in the playing of band instruments.

Performing musical shows & revues

Managing the Parbold Village Hall for and on behalf of the local community. Encouraging multi-use of the village hall which includes Slimming World, Karate, Keepfit, Mother & Baby Classes, Badminton, Parbold Picture House, Sunday Markets, Douglas Music, Flower Club, Pilates, Children's parties, etc.

We are a friendly group of Christians of all ages and backgrounds. What brings us together is that we have found a personal, living relationship with God, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Our church is a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC). Relevant, practical Bible-teaching is an important part of our services. We sing a mixture of older hymns and newer songs

We offer free music and video making workshops and activities to young people, primarily aged 13-25 living in Leeds, focusing on those who are disadvantaged. We also support those young people to start/further their careers in the music industry.

A Day Centre for Latin American older people living in London. The centre provides English classes, Latin American folk dance, guitar lessons, drawings and painting in canvass, computer lessons, handy craft and jewllery, exercise sessions, sewing sesions, transalation of documents and phone translations, housing and benefits advice sessions and trips to places of interests.

Metal For Good provides charitable grants to formal groups, charities and other non-profit organisations who deliver projects and services that use music-related activities for social benefit. Projects should also reflect the values of the rock and metal community (defined as togetherness, individuality, passion, integrity and belonging) for positive social change.
